We dined here several times last year and loved it so much we were excited to return. Firstly happy hour now finishes at 7pm not 8pm as it was previously! The meals come out within 5 minutes of ordering. The pork belly was only luke warm. We appreciate pork belly has fat but when it is not hot it us just outright gross. Presentation of food is great, service is non existent and food was disappointing. Sorry but we won't be returning again.

Dear customer: Might I take a moment of your time? If you are looking for a place to have a great vegetarian meal, or a cool place to sit down and chill, then you have definitely come to the right place. Customer health is our first concern, so our cookin
The food was ok but I have had better veggie food and wonât be going back. Two things got my proverbial goat: 1. Owner/manager trying to sell me options on the menu when I clearly knew what I wanted and 2. The bill was 5000VND (ok, itâs not the money, itâs the principle) higher due to us being given an old menu. I did get the money back but this kind of thing is irritating and not everyone will ask for it back or even check the bill, hence the âPOORâ rating.Dear AntonyTo give a restaurant a poor review based on a .17 GBP mistake that was rectified by the owner who also apologized for the miscommunication speaks more to your character than ours.

Well come to my Restaurant, We have HoiAn local Specail foods: Cao Lau, Rice pancake, Chicken rice, White Rose, Wonton ... Organic coffee, Vietnamese green tea..
We visited Wooden House today for lunch having read previous reviews. We had stunning rose dumplings, fresh spring rolls and Cau Lau. Every dish was delicious but more than that the family were so hospitable. Like other diners,we shared several glasses of Grandfathers homemade wine, given small sweet treats to take away plus they drove us back to our accommodation when we had difficulty waving down a taxi. This has been the highlight of our stay in Hoi An by far. Thank you so much.

Stumbled across this small villa-type restaurant with attentive service, clean/tidy surroundings and great food. Menu is all you can eat, with food of high quality and an affordable price tag, ensuring youâre left with a full food baby. The waitress helped us choose and recommended many specialty dishes, as well as ourselves ordering more as weâre quite big eaters. Waiter and waitresses were very friendly, in particular, their employee; Romeo.

We walked through the back streets of Hoi An, passing many organic veggie gardens to get to Joi restaurant. We booked a table at this restaurant because they only use fresh local produce within 10km away from the restaurant. The moment we sat down we had a good feeling about this place. The restaurant itself is in a quiet part of town, looking over the river and the green gardens. Very tranquil...The menu wasnât huge, so we picked every dish off the menu to taste and share amongst our 6 friends. We started with the grilled Eggplant dip, fresh Vietnamese rolls and the stuffed chicken wings. We were off to a great start. All 3 dishes were very tasty, fresh and delicious. We waited a while for our mains to come out. It was definitely worth the wait! From the Seasonal Seafood curry, to the authentic baked rice with lotus seeds and pumpkin, both taste sensations. The stand out dish of the night was the mushroom, tomato & garlic butter house made gnocchi. It was a melt in the mouth experience. Just divine! We could not fault this dish. We moved onto the desserts, ordering the Creme brûlée with passionfruit & Dragon fruit and the tiramisu made with Vietnamese coffee. Both desserts were outstanding! All the dishes on this menu were made from scratch & made to order. The Vietnamese American head chef who has had a very interesting colourful life in the food industry, Has nailed every dish on this menu. Definitely worth getting off the beaten track to indulge at Joi restaurant. Jeevesy33,Definitely a very memorable evening cooking for you haha! Happy to make the gnocchi for you anytime. Hope you had a great time in Vietnam! Ciao :)
