Reviews on Healthy food in Hatay Province, Turkish Mediterranean Coast, Turkey. Hatay Province (Turkish: Hatay ili, pronounced [ˈhataj]) is a province in southern Turkey, on the eastern Mediterranean coast. The administrative capital is Antakya (Antioch), and the other major city in the province is the port city of İskenderun (Alexandretta). It is bordered by Syria to the south and east and the Turkish provinces of Adana and Osmaniye to the north. The province is part of Çukurova (Cilicia), a geographical, economical and cultural region that covers the provinces of Mersin, Adana, Osmaniye, and Hatay. There are border crossing points with Syria in the district of Yayladağı and at Cilvegözü in the district of Reyhanlı. Sovereignty over the province remains disputed with neighbouring Syria, which claims that the province was separated from itself against the stipulations of the French Mandate of Syria in the years following Syria's independence from the Ottoman Empire after World War I. Although the two countries have remained generally peaceful in their dispute over the territory, Syria has never formally renounced its claims to it.

I went this restaurant in week days and it was not crowded. Waiter didnt show table thats why i sit one of table. And waiter came and told me you can not sit here . He showed other table it was dirty and at entrance. He told me you have one option where you can sit. The restaurant was totally empty. And i left. I can not recommend this restaurant and never will...."First of all, we apologize for the inconvenience. We assure you that we will find out what happened that day and fix the inappropriate behaviors with our end. We do not tolerate any impolite behavior to our customer and no matter if you come alone or with others we treat all of you in the same approach and quality. However, we sometimes are having difficulties explaining our customer that although tables are empty at the moment they are reserved for other customers (or a group of 100, 120 people who usually come from nearby cities i.e, Antalya) who booked the tables earlier. We still agree with you that our waiters should be able to explain you that situation and advise you in a polite way. This is a family restaurant and we own it since approx. 1945, and since then our main goal is to treat all of customer equally and have them left our home (restaurant) happily. Please do not hesitate to reach the owner (HammuÅ or Hatice) who is all the time available at the restaurant in case any situation that you are not happy with. Please once more accept our apologies and we look forward to welcoming you for the next time even maybe just for a Turkish coffee."
