Seli's Noodlebar

Small local familyrestaurant with open kitchen. The speciality are our handmade noodles. Possible to eat them in a plate or in a soup. Nice cooked and fried rice corner. Price quality product! Your satisfaction is our goal.

Kids had mentioned they’d fancied noodles in day time and came across this gem on trip advisor. Loved the food and hosts were fab. Will visit again. Thanks a lot for your nice visit... and the kids were great

Just visited this fairy-tale restaurant for the second time in a month, this time accompanied by three vegetarians ... We decided to choose the menu formula again, it turned out that it now amounted to € 39 instead of € 29, but for this price you got a complete dish per person as main course, whereas previously this had to be shared per two. Personally, I thought the previous formula was certainly ok, but apparently there were several customers who had complained that they had returned home with a hungry stomac ... In itself, this remains absolutely value for money, but on the other hand the manager could consider the 2 formulas to co-exist: € 29 if the main course is shared, € 39 for a whole main course per person. On the other hand, you can of course still eat a la carte, so you still have the freedom to share a main course. I remain lyrical about the quality of the food and drinks (very original mixes!), the location and the welcome (see my previous review): very tasty and healthy (the vegatians were also impressed by the quality of the vegetarian, even vegan dishes), beautiful interior and very cordial and warm welcome! I am sure that this will be a stayer in the Ghent restaurant scene! Let's hope that they will adjust the menu a bit soon, because with 2 visits in a month's time we have now really tried everything from the list... ;-)

If you want food that’s fresh and healthy this is a good choice. They offer home made soup of the day and salads along with very tasty desserts and drinks. The venue is light and airy and a pleasant contrast to most of the alternatives which are traditional cafes serving sandwiches and fries. It is opposite the Gravensteen Fort.
