Azul Cafe is a new restaurant & bar located in St. Thomas, specializing in paninis, bowls, sandwiches, fresh juices, and a great happy hour! We use the freshest local ingredients as possible so recipes may change day to day depending on what is available.
If you are looking for fresh and delicious "real" food, you have found the right place. Azul truly has something for everyone - Paleo - check, vegetarian - check...you get the picture. Everything is fresh and oh soo good. I eat here regularly and have never had anything even slightly mediocre. For the meat lovers they also have so many great items on the menu. In a nut shell, if you truly care about what you eat and what goes into you body - this is on the mark.Love the Azul team and can't wait to see what the specials are next time I order. (I'm actually eating their special from today right now which is what prompted me to write this review). Roasted vegetables (too many to name!), wonderful grains and bbq tofu. Delicious.Thank you guys for the whole food choices.Thank you so much for the raving review! We really appreciate your feedback and it is a pleasure to serve you!

This was our 3rd or 4th choice after going to several others that were closed or closing soon. The Urban Eats is located at the cruise boat terminal, however this was a Thursday night (cruises come to St Thomas on M-W and explains why so many restaurants were not open or closed early). We ordered the mushroom appetizer, which tasted like it was frozen and warmed up in a microwave. The entrees were better and seemed freshly prepared. I would avoid the wine ...a stronger form of prune juice I think. That said, the service was attentive and friendly, which made the visit a âgoodâ experience. This worked in a pinch, but the is not a restaurant that I would necessarily seek out otherwise.Cheers!Hi Bret, Thanks for visiting us, we appreciate the business. Sorry but I dont believe in microwaves so I can assure you nothing was frozen. As for the wine, its $5/glass. During a slow off season while everyone is recovering from devastation I hardly think offering $12-14/glass house wine is respectful. Once again thank you for visiting and if you do return I'll comp a meal.Sincerely,Michael Norris

My husband and I decided to try this after reading the reviews on TripAdvisor. Pros: they make their own sangria, my husband's roast beef pita was overflowing with meat, potato salad is good, nice locationCons: waitress accidentally spilled an entire carafe of sangria on me and my clothes and offered no restitution (I don't think I should have had to ask!), pasta salad just okay (dry)Overall we won't return after the sangria accident bc no compensation was given and we had to purchase the replacement bottle of sangria after the first landed on me and our camera bag.
