Moschoudakii is one of the oldest and most beautiful and traditional Greek Cafe in Greece. Renovated, but kept the old character that everyone loved in Amorgos. Located in a small village (Lagada) very close to Aegiali, easy to access. Homemade food, pies
A truly traditional coffee shop and restaurant, with modern touches that only enhance the calm, welcoming atmosphere. The cooking is superb and the service exceptional. Weâve traveled Greece for 35 years and this place is in the top five weâve ever visited. And the owners and staff are genuinely nice folks.

Really good restaurant for our first dinner in this island. And the all at a good price (for 2 less than 40⬠with 2 drinks, 2 starters and 2 mains dishes). Their specialties shrimps are really nice and thanks to the waiter for his good advice for the dark beer from Tinos ;).

We went to Hora on night, and didn't fancy eating at the side of the alleys with people pushing past constantly. We spotted a sign for Thea and went to have a look. We sat on a terrace with views around the town. Service was prompt and friendly, the food was superb, and the house wine was good enough to earn a second jug. All this for a very reasonable price. If you don't want to go to Greece to eat pizza while being jostled by passers-by, find Thea and have a relaxed, tasty, cheap meal.

This hotel really is one of the best in Amorgos -if not THE best-. The view over Aegiali is amazing!!! All the family is lovely and generous! They do make you feel at home in Amorgos! The breakfast near the pretty swimming pool is really good -love the little biscuits cooked by the mother-! We definitely recommend it!!

Overlooking Aegiali Limani it has a beutiful view, good people although prices are a tad high, however it is to be expected when in a touristic area. Good food even if service is a little slow. Anyway it has good wifi so I guess that makes up for it...;)

You will find Amorgialos at the end of the jetty to your left as you disembark from your ship as you arrive in the Port of Aegiali. We open everyday til late in the night from Greek Easter throughout the summer months until the end of September.
We absolutely loved the food and music at this place. They make just a few dishes each day all made with fresh ingredients of excellent quality. Portions were generous and the person who took our order (seemed like the owner) was friendly and made time to talk to all the guests. My partner is vegetarian and even though the choice is limited the courgette pie dish offered was delicious!Great music too, one evening there was also live Rebetiko in its most authentic form!Keep it up guys!!!

Falafel is a brunch/comfort food restaurant in the bizarrely beautiful island of Amorgos. Situated in the picturesque alleys of Aegiali, not far from the port, our offering includes simple hearty dishes with plenty of vegetarian options, fresh fruit blend
We tried to get here in the evening, but at 10 pm all tables were busy, so we decided to go the next day for lunch. Cosy place, with a good choice of Mediterranean dishes. First place in Greece that serves drinks with reusable bamboo straws - it seems that sustainability is important to the restaurant owners - something we donât see that often in Greece. We ordered a variety of vegan dishes. But the spring rolls and dumplings and accompanying sauces all made a prefab convenience impression. The salad and the falafel dish were very nice, although they could serve a bit more humus rather than the 4 teaspoons that were on the plate. Service is good and friendly, and the restaurant has really been taken care of. Not the best falafel place in the world, but a welcome change and a nice cosy place between all the other restaurants on the island.

We tried this restaurant after having read incredibly positive reviews. Suggested as the best restaurant in Amorgos, we came here for a quite early dinner, when many tables were still free and there was no pressure or chaos. We waited a while to get someone to take our orders, and this already gave us a glimpse of what the service was. The starters came many minutes apart, so I had to start eating alone, while my boyfriend was still waiting for his starter to arrive. The main dishes came simultaneously. However, during the dinner, my boyfriend had to napkin. The food was food. The fish is fresh and the fish itself is a good combination of tradition ingredients and a modern twist. The service doesn't compare with the food, the location and the prices at all.In my opinion, a good service can make an average food very good, but and average service is never compensated by good food.

This place is located in a narrow cobbled atmospheric street in Chora. Service was friendly. Food was fresh, well presented and tasty and represented the best of Greek island mediterranean food. Probably the best we had while in Amorgos for a week. Strongly recommended
