My husband and I have been stopping in each time we visit the are since it opened. The employees are so friendly and the coffee is great... just the way you like it! Vanilla macadamia nut or macadamia nut coconut lattes are my favorites but nothing has disappointed! They gave a frequent buyer program so ask for a card and keep it in the box for future visits and eventually a free coffee! Cute little store with pleasant and relaxing atmosphere!

We waited 15 minutes on the takeout side before I went up and asked. They were 10 numbers past us. Eventually we got half cooked eggs swimming in grease. Used to be a decent place but I won't go back. If you are visiting, you will be happier if you go anywhere else

Whether you are a local or a visitor, you will be amazed by the quality and size of these unbelievably Ono poke bowls. Sushi rice at the bottom, shredded daikon, and the best crab salad I have had accompany your choice of poke. You get to choose two proteins—I had limu poke and shoyu furikake salmon—but I also loved the spicy shrimp (the owner was so nice he later brought me out a small portion of the shrimp just because I loved it so much). Then you get to choose vegetable sides—so much to chose from and all fresh! Cucumber, namasu, cherry tomatoes, edamame, kimchee, ocean salad, avocado ($1 more). Because this place goes for broke, you then can add nori, furikake, or another choice. All of this deliciously fresh bowl for $13! Go with an appetite ‘cuz this bowl is so filling you’re not going have room for dinner later. I am a local who moved away and when I come back I seek out the new and the best. This little hidden g m is worth the drive! Got to go check it out-you will be so glad and eating a poke bowl won’t be the same again!

After having had this restaurant's food at a luncheon meeting several weeks ago, I brought my wife to the restaurant for lunch. The portions were very generous, the quality and preparation of the food was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was very good. The dine-in atmosphere is very casual with seating at a long table with other diners, but it was not crowded when we were there.

Bigger portion than a sit-down restaurant at a reasonable price. Taste was never compromised despite being a food truck. Service was much faster than the highly overrated Giovanni’s right next to it. One bit of warning: If you cannot handle an outdoor seating with flies, birds, and a rooster lurking around for bits of your food, I would not recommend this place (or any of the famous food trucks). My wife was in panic by the time the food came out, we had to drive to a nearby strip mall and eat in our car with windows rolled up and AC going. But, the tasty food made it all worthwhile.

My family isn't normally a fan of macaroni salad, but they loved the one here. So much flavor! The chicken was delish. Reasonably priced, very friendly, helpful owners. We stopped here because there was a line out the door and we wanted to know what was going on. Someone told us they had the best chicken, so we had to give it a try. We finished grocery shopping and by that time the line was gone. They get a huge rush at lunchtime.

Haleiwa Joe's Seafood Grill

Started off lunch with a delicious Bloody Mary. Thick tomato taste with a kick, just like I like it. The sandwich of the day was a fresh caught Ahi tuna salad melt on a toasted Taro bun. I split that with my sister and she ordered the Cajun fish sandwich in a soft taro bun. Both were absolutely delicious. The Cajun fish was just spicy enough and the soft taro bun had that sweet Hawaiian bread taste you know and love. No more pricy then anywhere else in town for lunch. We were hoping to get back one day for one of the Benedict’s for breakfast and another Bloody Mary, but weren’t able to.

Koa Pancake House

Reviewed By KMay-Canada

Koa pancake house does not pretend to be anything fancy! It is served on disposable plates and take about 5 minutes to get your order. The pancakes are incredible! We definitely ordered too many, but the macadamia nut pancakes and red velvet pancakes were fantastic. Not expensive at all. Definitely worth the trip!
