Find out what Hawaiian restaurants to try in Molokai. Molokai embraces the true Hawaiian spirit but without the typical Hawaiian fanfare. The pace is slower here, the nightlife and megaresorts are practically nonexistent (no buildings taller than a coconut tree are allowed), you won't even find a traffic light on this small island (38 miles long and 10 miles wide). You will find tranquility and nature - waterfalls, beaches, coves, coral reefs and rainforests, all best explored by foot, horse or boat. Molokai is also known for its fabulous mountain biking.

Not extraordinary food, but better than you'd expect to find at a takeout window at a small grocery store -- especially since it's the ONLY place to eat on the east side of Molokai. We were told the fried chicken plate was a best seller, and it certainly was tasty. The teriyaki beef was good too. Reasonable prices -- like $10 a meal or so.

This open air restaurant is on the grounds of the Hotel Molokaâi. I had lunch here about 10 years ago and vowed to come back. I had ono for dinner with a starter of delicious spicy ahi poke. And these incredible dinner rolls! I ate way too much but it was super. As a craft beer lover and frequent user of Untappâd, I really enjoyed sampling beers from Maui and the big island. The people at the bar and in the restaurant provide service with a true sense of aloha. I will be back!

We have tried the saimin at a couple of places on Molokai and this is the closest to the real thing...but still lacks the great flavour. For some reason, there are few veggies in Molokai saimin...a few shreds of cabbage and that is it....

Finally - a place that I want to eat rather than eating at places out of sheer necessity due to lack of options. This place is a gem on Molokai. Tiny store at the end of the main street on the left hand side. They have one wooden table inside to eat at or just take it away. They have delicious salads (hurra!) and very good looking bento boxes and sandwiches and everything is fresh and tasty and prepared with lots of love. The girls behind the counter and in the kitchen are proud of their little business and rightly so. After 4 days on Molokai, finally decent food. Will go back every day until we leave and eat my way through their menu. Very highly recommended in you are into clean, healthy food of the non-burger, non-pizza variety and want to feel good after you have eaten and not just full. Yum. so pleased. This should be number 1 on the island along with the ice cream shop. Supernice service!
This food truck had one of the best poke bowls (we had the salad version and rice version) we have ever had. Molokai does not really offer many food options, but this is definitely a treat! Also the Acai bowls looked great, but we didnât get round to taste them... next time!
