Wir haben absolut nichts auszusetzen! Der Service ist super und das Essen regional und saisonell. Es war super lecker. Im nächsten Urlaub kommen wir gerne wieder!

We were looking for Italien food for lunch und came across with this place spontaneously. It is located at the road side and has 5/6 Parking slots at front door. As we enter there was only 1 table occupied (it was about 14:30 - not a rush hour for lunch) and rest of the place was empty. (See Photo) So we would like to have a table with view near the window. However the man (could be the owner) did not want to give us a table with the view explaining that tables on the front are ONLY for Group of 6 People. (We were 4) I asked if they are reserved for later and told him that we will only stay for an hour. Answer was again NO with a ridiculous explanation that he never knows if a group of 6 comes. So as the kids were hungry, we stayed and had the worst table in this empty restaurant and as expected no one arrived during our stay. Pizza was fine. Service was moderate. As we ask for a extra plate for the little one, the guy hesitated a bit, questioned a little bit. Overall if they can improve their service and serve friendlier and arrange their table in another combination could be a nice place. But we will never go again.

My first dish was a baked potato which was ok but the salad with it had some very bad , chemical taste(and smell!) maybe from the dressing or the cabbage, so I could not eat it. I told the waiter about it, but although he did asked me a bit later, if I wished another salad, he did not apologize at all for the quality of the salad. I would have expected more worries when a customer says something is wrong with the food...He did not seem to care.Further, the wildragout and the kroketten were very disappointing. The sauce was much too thick and from the six pieces of meat in the sauce, some were tender , some were tough. I looked forward to have the kroketten but they were the worst I ever had. Too long (dark brown )fried and it was almost no potato inside, just a very thick hard crust outside. Too bad when you think how easy you can make them even home when you buy the frozen ones from Aldi and bake them...My dinner partner had a pepper steak and the waitress did not even asked how he wanted it cooked. The size and quality of the steak definitely not worth 21 euros. My glass was empty for a long time and although there were two waiters and the place was almost empty. no one came to ask me if I wished another drink . I had to call the waiter to bring me another drink, after I succeeded to catch his attention .... All in all a poor experience for us and I do hope they can improve their not perfect service but mostly the quality of food, so that at least other customers will enjoy their experience...Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for your visit and your review or KretÃk! Sorry for the poor quality of their salad, ragout and croquettes, which must not happen! We discussed it with the kitchen! They complain about the steak quality, because the service has forgotten to ask about the degree of doneness (medium, englich, well done)! Sorry, you have not made us aware that cooking setting you want! Our steaks are from Argentine Black Angus beef and it's fresh produce and your frozen goods! Too bad that at 7 staff service there were long waiting lists beverage service, as you saw, the hotel and restaurant was fully booked! Perhaps a new in the Alt Amsterdamer Stuben! First: you need to reserve a table or to be there early (17:30) to get a table. Once you have a place then you can enjoy very delicious and traditional food with modern touch. We ordered "Reibekuchen" with cream and bacon, another which chicken and mushroom souce. A Mediterranean burger, steak (perfect backed) and chicken nuggets for the little one finish the list. Everything was perfect.

We had a lovely dinner here, with fresh tastes, home warmth, and an attentive and informed waiter. Great time, will visit again for sure. I personally liked the prawns pasta most, but I think it's hard to go wrong with anything from the menu.

Our hotel is not far away. So after browsing TA we chose this place. Is a restaurant of a small hotel. We need to drive on a quite snowy road. But if you have winter tires no problem. The place is warm and friendly. The place is run by Dutch people. Maybe thatâs why the dishes are so familiar for me. They serve whatâs popular in NL.The good they serve different dishes than average winterberg restaurant. The bad they are rather expensive. The onion soup was not classic French. Looks like it, but slightly sour taste surprised me. Not to my liking at all.The shrimp in garlic was good. Very tasty. At 11,50 you can get a main course serving in the city.As mains we had the salmon, ribeye and spareribs. The salmon was perfectly done and they went out of the way to get it cooked like we requested. Almost wel done. The ribeye was quite a solid piece. At least 250gr. Was wel cooked and rested. Medium without being to bloody. A big plus. Most German restaurants in winterberg only serves rumpsteak. Never understood Germans love for this piece of meat. Still at over 22⬠quite expensive for Germany. The spare ribs I didnât like personally. We ordered two. First was to dry. Not enough marinated. And like always people forget to keep basting the meat. But biggest mistake...it was not slowcooked before grilling it.so quite dry.The second was quite fatty and thick. Lots of meat are on top of the bone and not in between. Not really baby back ribs. Also lack of marination means rather bland. They gave different sauces, but a good spareribs doesnât need extra sauces. A pass for me. But still acceptable. The place is warm and cozy. Presentation is quite fancy. With very nice and friendly people. But food wise itâs good, but hardly does the TA rating justice and along with price I gave it a 3of 5.There are better and cheaper options in the city.
