The city of Su-Won is known for their galbi! This restaurant had modern design with a little touch of old world. The place was packed, that alone speaks volume. We ordered galbi and totally enjoyed every bite and finshed it off with cold noodles! You just have to try, but the price is not wallet friendly. Only thing that bothered me about this place was the restroom. The floor was flooded, not sure why or what it was, but that made us feel grossed out.

The Halal Indian restaurant with Himalayan Garden Concept. Trying to give a different natural environment, taking you bit away far from busy urban life, with authentic popular Indian curry, tandoori BBQ, fine wine and beer. You can have delicious GOAT Bul
We had a wonderful time at this cozy, bright and colorful restaurant; however we both agree that they could have dimmed the lights to create a romantic scene in an Indian restaurant. The decor was everything you expected from India. And the food...was amazingly delicious. We ate regular spiced meals and it was spicy good. Canât imagine how much spicier âspiceâ meals can get. We tried the authentic village tandoori chicken, the Chana Aloo (chick peas & potatoes), and garlic honey naan (oven bread). They were all fantastic. Yummy! We walked away very satisfied. Will likely go there again.

Where to eat Barbecue food in Suwon: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I found this place by accident as I was leaving Hwaseong Fortress. It's only 2 minutes walk south of Janganmun Gate. They had a menu in English so I thought I'd try it out, although the middle-aged couple inside could barely speak a word of English. So I took the challenge of pointing at things. The couple were as friendly and helpful as they could be.I ordered the barbequed duck, it came out in about 10 minutes which was just enough time to have a glass of Cass beer. The slices of meat were so tender and cooked perfectly. It went really well with the Korean-style pancakes which were mildly fermented, so I added a bit of sauce and some onion and it was delicious!Although the duck on its own was fantastic.I've added some photos in the hope that you'll be able to find this place as well if you're wandering around Hwaseong Fortress. Good luck!
