Enjoyed several dishes, each were excellent, my favourite being the red mullet. So many layers of flavour and to think this is all achieved in such a tiny kitchen!

We purchase food locally and cook fresh in our kitchens each day. We have a popular Sunday Roast each Sunday, as it is freshly cooked roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, green vegetables and melt in the mouth meat, pl
Went here late season and like everywhere else the crowds had diminished as the kids had gone back to school - excellent!! We didn't eat here as we'd already booked elsewhere but the food we saw at close quarters looked good and smelled great and the portions were generous - we'd have eaten here no problem.Would return again when in Newquay, friendly staff and good atmosphere.

Visited Gusto when it first opened and i always knew this place would be a success. The quality is good and the portions of a decent size. This is one place where I would always recommend to friends because I know this place is consistent in what it serves & when visiting newquay I always make at least one trip here.

Cornish Steak and seafood, serving the finest of steak and seafood with an emphasis on local suppliers.
Ate here twice in a 4 day stay. Limited range menu but what they do they do extremely well and at reasonable prices.Had scallops and crab tagliatelle the first time; Cornish moules and sirloin steak the second time. Tasty cheeseboard to follow on each occasion.Delicious and all three of us heartily approved.Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.Premises very clean, well situated with a nice ambience.Recommended.

Went Thursday evening had a fabulous meal. Myself Sea Bass and the best sea bass I have ever had plus crispy Kal, new potatoes and a fab sauce everything was perfect. My husband had fish and chips and he said the chips were very crispy and the peas were very different. But the main pointer was the staff, Sam the bar manager was so friendly and lovely to be treated with respect and bending down to take our order and talk to us. We enjoyed it so much we went back again Friday. Had nachos with pulled chicken and sour cream and sweet potato fries, wow never had such a huge plate full, but lovely to see the staff remembered us and again we're so polite. Highly recommended

The style combines Cornish attitude with a classic brasserie, while the food draws on international influences, local inspiration and executive chef Neil Haydock's passion for contemporary American cuisine. Provenance is important and the seasonal two or
Uninspiring menu coupled with slow service and overpriced, mediocre wine. Dined here as part of a full board stay at Watergate Bay Hotel. Food choice uninspiring and below expectations. Although the quality is better than most chain hotels it could be so much better. But it's a captive audience here, especially if you want a drink. In future, we'll probably drive over to Padstow for fine dining for similar money once you factor out the £35+ mediocre wine. Such a shame, a missed opportunity.Dear johnroberts422,Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It's disappointing to read that you didn't enjoy your meal in Zacry's. We always try to source the finest local, seasonal produce which is normally very well received by our guests. I apologise that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. I will be sure to pass your comments along to the team to review and we will hope to have the opportunity to welcoming you back in the future.

The Travellers Rest is a beautiful Cornish village pub nestled between Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay beaches, just a mile away from Newquay Airport. This pub is ideally located to relax and unwind as you take in the sights of the North Cornwall coast. Da
We had 2 meals here whilst on holiday and on both occasions the food was really tasty, served quickly, looked a great dish and all the staff attentive and friendly - everyone with dogs (and there were a few) was made most welcome. Really felt this was a pub to pass on a recommendation to others if down this way.
