We stumbled upon the Sun Dog Cafe and loved it! The atmosphere is great, the food and drinks were delicious. We will return again and again.Exactly. The Sun Dog Cafe is squeezed into gracious Mongoose Junction almost as an afterthought, although our bar overlooks the center courtyard, the tables and kitchen quietly blend into the beautiful architecture. And when you're there, it has a certain unassuming intimacy, a casual and easy going feeling. Thanks for the review and we're glad you "stumbled upon" us. Only open a few nights a week with live music on the beach. A very good happy hour for drinks. Wish the kitchen was open but by the looks of things it might be a while. Drinks are served out of a temporary bar set up near the beach.So....knowing our situation, you feel that what we are able to do with our temporary, post hurricanes setup...providing adult beverages and live music(at our expense) on the beach only rates 2 stars? We are doing everything we can to get the entire Beach Bar reopened. SMDH!

The beer was cold and the staff was very pleasant. We did not eat there so can't comment on the food but did see a number of people that bought burgers and they seemed satisfied.
