It lies on the north side of the Thames Estuary, 40 miles (64 km) east of central London. It is bordered to the north by Rochford and to the west by Castle Point. It is home to the longest leisure pier in the world, Southend Pier. London Southend Airport is located 1.5 NM (2.8 km; 1.7 mi) north of the town centre.

A small(ish) restaurant run by a Greek family with great traditional recipes.Friendly, helpful staff fully conversant with the recipe and ingredients of everything on offer, including the Greek bottled beers and wine. A little bright inside perhaps for an intimate or romantic meal but you won't be disappointed (unless you come expecting to find dancing and plate-smashing).

Came in for my Mum's free round of birthday cocktails. I find Revolution a lot more bearable during the day, as I'm not really a crowd person and it gets super busy at night. As it was, we visited in the early afternoon and were able to sit upstairs (where only one other table was seated) and relax whilst we drank our cocktails. I chose the new Rockstar Martini which was really sweet and tasty and complete with edible lips and glitter. I enjoy the cocktails a lot more when they're quiet because the bar staff have time to add the little touches shown on the menu; whereas in the evening they are a lot more rushed and things are missed. I do really enjoy the odd trip to Revolution but, in my opinion, it's really not up to scratch when it's busy. Thought about giving this place a go . lovely place to eat with good friends atmosphere was lovely .we had pornstar martini cocktail very nice what was there not to like decor really good waitress who we had gemma was perfect nothing was to much trouble she was good at her job and cant praise her enough Food was fantastic and plenty of it too .Looking at some previous reviews they say that your rushed and that is not the case so on that note i would ignore the negatives and read on the posatives .lovely place so give it a go

I came here for a business meeting this week and my initial impression was great customer service and friendly staff.We walked in 5mins before they were due to finish serving food and were happy to accommodate a food order as long as we were quick.We had lovely fresh tasty food and amazing cocktails.We will definitely be back.

We went the last lunchtime in October and were encouraged that a few went in before us at noon when it opened Waitress v keen and staff dressed for Halloween Food ordered and soft drinks brought and then we waited and waited Other customers arrived and were served and when the man in a nearby table was given incorrect order we thought it best to go to greeting station to find out how long we would still have to wait snd were told they would find outNothing happened and we saw our waitress again and she asked and came back and said ribs take a long time to cook but just coming out nowOur meals arrivedMy companion said she asked for sweet potato fries with her ribs but skinny fries arrivedThe waitress said she had ordered the right thing and said she would get the right fries and took the skinny ones awayWhen she came back I advised her that perhaps my burger and chips had been left waiting on the side whilst ribs cooking as my fries spread out around my chicken burger were cold and covered in salt She said leave them snd she would brought moreThey arrived shortly afterwards and in a pot to keep warm snd no salt this timeVerdict Ribs my companion said chewy and fatty My chicken v greasy Dessert menu on mini blackboard v limitingIce creamVarious brownies Various cheesecakes Certainly they have reduced the main menu as no hot dogs as well as other things and v limited dessert menu I ordered a cappuccino and if only they could froth the milk and no chicken sprinkled on the topWaitress v inexperienced with iPad ordering Will we be backNO
