Welcome to Bokun! The place where gastronomy takes part in cultural and historycal part of Sisak on the coast of river Kupa. We have created the place with arhitectual ambience, perfect for business lunches, ceremonies, celebrations, a meeting place for f
Very nice restaurant with great food and good atmosphere even though it was raining outside. Everything was freshly prepared from steaks to pasta with vegetables. Especially tasteful were homemade potatoes. Staff was very professional, definitely good place to recommend.
I was having a difficult time trying to determine a suitable grade for this place. The soup was awful, the main course was acceptable and the homemade bread was great. The table was extremely dirty, but the staff was very nice. The prices were more than fair.

Mlinski Kamen offers sophisticated Croatian cuisine, featuring both new and traditional dishes, crafted exclusively from local ingredients from our own eco-farm (the farm can also be visited). The beautiful ambience and preserved nature of Mlinski Kamen,
As soon as you get to Mlinski kamen (the Millstone Resort), you can feel all the love and effort that has gone into establishing this lovely retreat so very near Zagreb. The accommodation emulates the look and feel of traditional wooden houses with traditional furniture; even though the lodgings are equipped with the TV, you really donât want to turn it on because thereâs plenty to see, ride horses (and ponies) and go hiking along the lovely river Kupa and in the countryside. And then the restaurant and the food!!! Itâs proper homemade food and hearty meals into which you can tuck with gusto. Iâm a vegetarian and I found no problems when I asked for a dish to be made for me sans meat (and mushrooms, which I just donât like; I know, Miss Fussy). I donât know where to start: the cheese, produced at the farm, is simply heavenly (thereâs hard cheese, cottage cheese, and cheese from cooked milk with added flavours (red peppers, black pepper, chives, porcini mushrooms etc. or smoked; the smoked one with added ground peppers is a superb combo), and they are all delicious. As for the food at the restaurant, I have to admit I overindulged, but I couldnât stop myself because everything was simply delicious. I had chestnut soup, which was beyond scrumptious, then the lovely veggie quiche and baked vegetables; and the portions are quite generous :). A little sidenote: Meat-eaters, fear not - Mlinski kamen also offers their own meat and cured meat products; itâs just not my thing. I also must mention the staff, who were very kind and friendly, made you feel really welcome. All in all, a wonderful day spent at Mlinski kamen, a charming retreat with excellent food that I wholeheartedly recommend.Thank you very much for your visit and feedback. Your kind words are an encouragement for us to strive to be even better. We hope you will visit us againg.
