The Bar / Restaurant "Roof" is part of the Bayside Hotel in the first row alongside the beach in Scharbeutz.I have been there two weeks ago and had a wonderful night, sitting outside, looking over the baltic sea and drinking Gin Tonics.Prices are reasonable and the Gin selection good. Inside the restaurant you can eat great Sushi, however we only had some fingerfood outside. Blankets are available and I can only recommend to take in the nice atmosphere.

Vorweg: DÃ¶ner small ist wirklich schon eine gute Portion, von der auch die meisten Kerle satt werden sollten. Der DÃ¶ner bei DÃ¶ndÃ¼ ist deutlich besser als der Durchschnitt. Allein das Fleisch wirkt hÃ¶herwertiger als in den meisten anderen DÃ¶nern. Das Brot wird knusprig getoastet und mit der Saucenkombi Cocktail-Knoblauch das Ganze zum Genuss. Das bauliche Ambiente - das alte Strandhotel - ist das HÃ¤sslichste, was Scharbeutz zu bieten hat. DÃ¶ndÃ¼s DÃ¶ner ist trotzdem der beste!

On our way back from DÃ¤nemark we stayed for two nights at the Arborea Marina Resort. The first night we had dinner at the grill restaurant. Since we love to eat grilled meat we were just in the right place. We both ordered a small salad with green asparagus, lettuce und field salad topped with a balsamico dressing and olive oil. As a main course we choose a Filet Steak M/R and a Tomahawk Steak. Both were grilled to its perfection. Even though the Tomahawk Steak would also have been enough for two persons we really enjoyed the great atmosphere and friendly service. All together a great experience which resulted in a second visit the day after. We will soon be back :-)
