After not being able to find parking in town, we decided to give Lobo do Mar a try. We saw no reviews prior to going but the place was packed and considering it was outside the main area of town it was a good sign. We were not disappointed. The process is great. You go in and they assign you a table. Once the table is available you go to the line to pick your freshly caught fish from the display. There were 8 type on display today plus two types of clams. Unfortunately sardines were not one tonight (or they ran out) as I really wanted some as a starter. We had Imperador (a fish), clams, and squid. Fish and squid were simply grilled and were incredibly fresh, delicious, and grilled to perfection. The clams were traditional portugues with olive oil, cilantro, and white wine. Simple. Exceptional. We also had potatoes, salad, etc. Nothing fancy, but nothing to detract for the main dishes. For drinks we had white sangria. If you like sangria, it is a must. Very, very tasty. The service was good but the poor man working our area was terribly over worked. He had approximately 14 groups he was serving from 2 persons to multiple tables of 5-6 persons. He was frazzled running back and forth constantly and being called over by many tables. I was observing his efforts and he was not wasting any time or efforts, very good at his job. He was just swimming with concrete boots on this service. Just trying to stay above water which he did. We left him a nice tip as he could use a drink after dinner service. I know I would. This was easily our favorite meal so far in Portugal. It was pricey though as the Imperador was their most expensive fish and ours weighed 2kg. Had we selected a lesser fish, this probably would have been our least expensive meal in this trip as everything else was modestly priced. Choose wisely to your taste and budget. I have no regrets as to what we paid.

We tried here one evening and ended up returning for the next two nights. It was that good!As well as having the fantastic chicken, we were lucky enough to try some fantastic, Secret Black Pork one evening. This was much to the dismay of some slightly envious locals after we'd pre-ordered, as-per the owners advice, earlier in the day.A much more authentic affair for eating in as opposed to other Churrasqueiras' in the area. Fantastic value with excellent house wine and great for taking out too.We shall definitely return when in the area next.
