Tender Filet of beef steak with baked potato for â¬15.90. Cooked to perfection ( medium rare). Service was prompt, friendly and more attentive than most restaurants in Germany. It is hard to find but the terrace is a very nice surrounding to enjoy a meal.

Die Lage des Restaurants ist gut, Parkmöglichkeiten sind vorhanden. Das Personal ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Es gab auch ein,zwei Usos auÃer der Reihe. Aber das wichtigste, das Essen war Klasse, einfach lecker. Preis und Leistung stimmten. Wir kommen wieder.Wer gerne griechisch essen möchte ist hier an der richtigen Stelle. Essen gut, Service gut alles gut.

This is a restaurant cum beer garden type of a place. The latter serves Bratwurst and Buletten, and has a few stations where you can order drinks. The Mueckenwirt is beautifully located on the banks of the Elbe, overlooks the island in the middle of the river, has a small passenger ferry operating nearby, and the long-distance cycle path running almost through the beer garden. Picturesque!

Visited here on recommendation from a work colleague who lives in the area. The staff were very passionate about their range of steaks - and the fininshed product was excellent !!! I had a rib-eye steak that was tender and full of flavour. The restaurant loses 1 point for me as the atmosphere was pretty dull, it was a bit cold and the prices were really top-end. Good wine list though adds a point !! I would go back - but only if I was on a corporate account.
