Dear guests, we welcome you to our family-run restaurant. Enjoy our regional cuisine to the fullest. Best regards Fam. Waldner
Close to the lake, on the hiking and cycling trails, this place is worth stopping at. We had excellent and friendly service while enjoying the view. The "Gulaschsuppe" was excellent as were the pizzas. For a quick lunch for three people with drinks we paid EUR 37.20, so excellent value too.Thank you for your rateGreetingsRestaurant Zum See
The location on the forest provides a magnificent view of the nearby Haidersee & Ortler massif and are ideal for spending time in nature. In summer you will find here an ideal starting point for small and large Hikes to pastures, huts, mountain hikes or a
This place is a great favourite of mine and we have just completed our sixth visit in seven years. It is a Gasthof with attached restaurant open to non residents and in reality should be merged for clarity with the "English" reviews on here.https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g1187115-d3250148-Reviews-or5-Hotel_Alpenrose-San_Valentino_alla_Muta_Province_of_South_Tyrol_Trentino_Alto_A.htmlThe Dinner menu for residents is chosen at Breakfast from a short list and works well. Dishes are well presented and cooked fresh are are mainly representative dishes from the area. There is a comprehensive wine list as well as an a la carte menu if you prefer.Service is supervised by boss man Hans Peter and is always friendly. He never seems rushed and has time for a chat.Rooms are very clean with a balcony and comfortable beds. We always ask for 'our room' #8 and so far it is always ready for us.Two flights of stairs but worth it.We shall be back again next year.Pictures are worth a thousand words. Enjoy.

A week's trip to Italy and I would normally be after traditional Italian cuisine and wine every night. However, this was in the German speaking Südtirol region very close to the Swiss and Austrian border. I researched the place in advance from a website devoted to beer and this place did well. I turned up about 19:30 and it wasn't too busy. A huge selection of beers served in porcelain tankards was a good plus. The menu was, unsurprising, very dominated by hearty meat dishes. However with the help of the waiter, we selected a vegetarian soup (cream of polenta soup) and a roasted goat's cheese dish which was either a starter or double sized portion as a main. That and a very tasty appetiser and some lovely smoky tasting rye and crisp breads made this a really enjoyable meal. With two beers and the food, the bill came to just â¬27 making it one of the best meals in a long while.
