The Harbourside is a cafe / bar. Its incorporated in the Slipway Building, directly across from Port Isaac Harbour. It serves traditional foods and drinks all year round although winter hours do vary.
Called in today had a cream tea which was just ok a cheese sandwich with salad and crisps, the cheese was awful the bread was stale and the salad was limp, the waiter bought it on a dirty tray the serviettes were damp, the jam and cream was cheap and not tasty and to add insult to injury it was very expensive the worse meal we have had after a weeks holiday in cornwall and also the most expensive a total rip off, place is dirty. My advice is do yourself a favour and AVOID

Charming 18th century public house with 2 restaurants and a bar serving Bbq'd steaks and fish, a selection fo tapas tapas alongside traditional pub food
The menu looks amazing online and wonât disappoint. We visited for dinner and had a real selection - from the curry, to lasagne, to chicken burger, to beef Wellington. Every dish was excellent, and the starters and puddings too. Felt like they really aim for top quality food and ingredients, and definitely hit the mark. Highly recommended if youâre looking for top quality food in the area.

I was very much looking forward to eating here. The window display in this small restaurant/cafe is fantastic. Itâs lined with fresh fish and is really appealing. The staff were friendly enough, and thatâs just about where my positive views on Prawn in the Lawn end.The cost of lunch here and the incredulous booking/cancellation fees are where my whole experience just turns sour.We had 4 oysters, 1 side of potatoes, 5 prawns, 2 langoustine and a large bottle of water. This totalled £60.After my disappointment, my recommendation is to try one of the other many great places to eat in Padstow and the surrounding areas. We ate at Rick Steinâs Seafood Restaurant and Nathan Outlawâs Fish Kitchen and enjoyed both of those. The issue is not the cost, itâs the feeling of being ripped off.

Barnaby's is located in a former victorian tearoom in the centre of Padstow and is sister restaurant to the popular Prawn On The Lawn. Our menu changes regularly, we source everything as locally as possible and work with the seasons as much as we can. Wit
Small plates. Small being the operative word. Two skewers of lamb with the smallest amount of meat on each one. No wonder they advise you order lots of them. Ranging in price from £8 to £11. The male waiter with tattoos on neck was excellent. The young girl slim shoulder length hair should I think be better trained. Will I return. No way £144 for a meal for two sat on a cramped table by a cold window on a hard chair. One good server and one not. We tried you and felt let down

A group of 17 of us had Sunday lunch there. The service was friendly and efficient, although the food had started to cool when it came. As we were a big group, it did seem the vegetable portions were low. We pre-ordered meals, mostly roasts, and also had coffee and desert. We all enjoyed our meals and liked the corner where they were able to seat us all on one table. There were also fine with us paying individually and staying for a while chatting after the meal.
