We visited as the place looked breezy and inviting. The menu and pricing wasnât too different to other neighbouring Greek tavernas in the area. We went for the mixed Greek meat grill. This consisted of fries, pita, chicken, kebab, lamb chop, pork etc with tzatziki dip. The only meat I liked was the Greek pork sausage. Everything else tasted dry/off. Eg the chicken almost tasted like an unrecognisable meat, we had to guess what it could be because it tasted so much like cardboard. The doner meat had a greasy aftertaste with no real flavour or seasoning.I made it quite clear I didnât like it and ate only the pitta, dip and the fries. I asked for more dip at â¬3.90 for the flavour. The wine was nice but they obviously didnât need to cook that, so it would be. 2/5 food isnât up to the standards expected, especially when nearby restaurants bring a lot more than decor to the table!

Burger Bar & Grill serving a wide variety of honest wholesome food at reasonable prices. Family owned and run since 1983.
We stopped here on a number of evenings out for an after meal cocktail/drink. Prices were good and the service was attentive. Hint - if you do not like string cocktails, just ask for a little less booze.

Traditional Greek Taverna open all day. Great for lunch, dinner and evening snacks. Serving home-made good quality food with meat cooked on the grill and salads, plus light snacks including Gyros. Happy hour each day from 18:00-20:00 serving cocktails and
We visited this restaurant several times for dinner and were warmly welcomed by Olga and George who create their own cheerful atmosphere with charm and an efficient service. A lovely little eating place opposite the beach with a varied menu of fantastic food and pleasant house wines. Prices are very reasonable and for those who appreciate a taverna with an authentic feel, this is the place to go.

Excellent value and massive meals. Unfortunately, for our waistlines we had too many meals here! We also had breakfast one morning. Our first thoughts were â¬9 for breakfast was expensive. However it was absolutely worth it and I'd thoroughly recommend it.A very "well oiled machine" very slick operation. Very clean, efficient and friendly staff. While so many other restaurants were almost empty, this was busy every time we visited. Definitely recommend.

We had selected Mamas as our first nights dining experience during our Ixian holiday. No disappointment there! Tho' we enjoyed all local meals here, Mamas was the best. The food? YUMMIE! Not a necessarily a Veggies place, but for those wishing first class meat dishes with recipes of outstanding deliciousness, it was the tops. Mine hostess could be both friendly and intimidating at the same time. We enjoyed her!On our first order, we asked for a recommendation for wine. Freely given, it proved a winner, and subsequent visits reinforced that choice.Every meal of every course was THOROUGHLY enjoyed. Even the manic passing traffic was forgotten!! not easily done!On our final visit (we had been sampling other establishments) we finished the meal with 'Mama-made 'Spoon' sweet with Greek yogurt'. This Cherry dish was just TOO delicious.Taking our leave at the end of the meal (end of holiday) we said Goodbye to the family in the kitchen. OH joy! There we found the Cherries in Syrup were available as a 'take home' option. We did, but not enough of them! Now, with Greek (style) yogurt but sans cherries, we mournt their omission.Lovely restaurant, lovely family and stupendous food. BONZA!!!

My boyfriend and I visited Pegasus on the last night of our holiday, weâd heard & read really good reviews so thought it would be a nice end to our trip. Unfortunately it didnât live up to expectations at all. We had the pita/bread and Tzatziki as a starter, which was pretty mediocre and a little bit weird as we were served thick slices of brown bread which seemed as though it had been defrosted (cold and hard in the middle but lukewarm on the outside). For mains my boyfriend ordered a burger which he enjoyed, but I made the mistake of ordering the pork souvlaki. When my meal first came out I cut into the pork and it was quite pink on the inside. I very politely told this to the waitress who was very sympathetic - to be fair- and asked if Iâd like it re-cooked, to which I accepted. The second time it came out, I cut into a larger piece and - as per the attached photo - it was basically still breathing on my plate. I was pretty disappointed about this, considering it had already been âre-cookedâ , it put me off the rest of my meal and I just wanted to pay and leave. We also had some cocktails - upon recommendation - but these werenât particularly enjoyable either & (Im assuming) the older man that owns it , put on a pretty embarrassing display. Overall our experience wasnât good and we both left feeling as though we shouldâve picked somewhere else to eat. My advice to anyone visiting - especially if with children - is to double check your food is cooked, or pick somewhere else.

Yiannis grill house was founded in 1999 in the area of Kremasti in Rhodes island. Behind the traditional library building, at the historic square you can enjoy unique flavors that marry the traditional taverna with grilled cuisine. John with his sons Mano
We have visited many food establishments around the whole of the island and I can say this is the best place to eat as the quality of food is exceptional and the prices are so good. A fantastic well run family establishment whereby the whole family work hard all year to maintain the highest standards of food which includes home grown vegetables, olives and olive oil.If I could rate my clients i would give you 10 stars ! Thank you my friend for the review. So enjoyable sitting with you and your wife after a long day of work and drinking with you!

The story of "Magister" starts back in 1977 as "Koala Bar". We are devoted to the fresh ingredients and to local meats. Our speciality is our Burgers based in 200gr fresh mince meat accompanied with local (freshly cut) chips.
We came here just before leaving for the airport after searching on trip advisor. We ordered the burgers and club sandwiches and they were all huge and tasty. Our daughters had the club sandwiches but they definitely could have shared one portion. There was no room for a dessert though! Give this place a visit especially if you want to be fill up before you fly.
