Good choice for a quick, honest and well priced pub lunch - @ R42 for a pork chop and chips you'd really have to screw it up to not make it worthwhile and they don't - plus other basics such as ice cold beer and free WiFi and you can't go wrong!

Very average meal. We ordered two pizzas. Toppings slipped of the pizza. Base was not great. The creamy snails where pretty good. Service was very slow. Over 1hour to get our pizzas and than the disappointment when they finally arrive.

Lunch stopover during a visit to Kruger. Average service was a bit tardy but the food was excellent. If the waiters receive some training this place will be awesome.

Pioneer's Grill, a restaurant situated in Hazyview, Mpumalanga serving the best aged steak in town. We also have a wine cellar with over a 100 wines to choose from. Our butchery, Meat & Coffee Co at the new Hazyview Junction Mall where you can buy aged me
First restaurant on our SA trip but my boys, who ate a lot of meat during the next 3 weeks, said best fillet and ribs were at Pioneer's! Don't forget to ask for an additional salad or something else if you like this, it's not included as in Europe (as we learned later on ;-)) Cosy on the couches inside. Service was ok but we've had friendlier waitresses along the way. Owner came to check if everything was ok, that was great!Thank you for your kind comment, sorry for the late responce, I only saw it now, going through all the comments. We appreciate it very much. I have a wall that I put up the comments, the staff need to see and be motivated. Thank you again. The waitress will see and know!

We were welcomed like VIP. Excellent service from our waiter. The steak was the best I've ever tasted. The stuffed lamb was just as amazing. The portions were more than enough. They brought us heated hand towels after we ate and was willing to assist with anything we needed. You really get what you pay for here! Dear Christiaan,Thank you so much for this beautiful review! It's always our pleasure to spoil our guests. Hope to see you soon again.

A small, friendly bush pub serving drinks and great fare at very reasonable prices. Served al fresco under a tarpaulin on a wooden deck. If you enjoy a rustic setting with great food, then this restaurant is for you.
We went to Tanks on our last night in Hazyview. Food was good but restricted menu. It is afterall a bush pub BUT the food was good, staff and management very friendly and we enjoyed the experience. Keep it up guysThank you. We are glad you enjoyed the food. Being a, Bush Pub, like you say, we whittled the menu down to:Four types of starters, ten types of gourmet burgers, three baskets, fish and calamari dishes, three chicken dishes, nachos, salad, our famous sous vide prepared steak with seven different homemade sauce options, three desserts and four options for kiddies meals. But all tasty, as you've said!

For light meals their Pizzas are good, thin base, tasty and good value for money. They have a limited menu not everything is appealing on the menu, but different strokes for different folks I guess
