This is a very nice steakhouse which I visit often when I want a good steak. You can get either normal Colombian cuts (punta de anca, churrasco, baby beef...) and special cuts you will find difficult to have in other restaurants (picaña, tomahawk, t-bone...), all cooked to perfection.Normal cuts are reasonably priced and they come in 2 sizes (about 20.000/25.000 pesos) while special cuts are a bit more expensive (about 30.000) but, still, you will be more than happy to pay the premium because they are very good.They really listen to you and try to prepare the food following your requirements, steaks are properly cooked to your preferred term (I like mine medium-rare) on a charcoal barbeque and they come with your choice of potatoes and salad.Staff is great, very warm and kind.Great steaks, this is definitively one of my favourite steakhouses in Manizales!

This restaurant surprised me because it was next to the food court but when I saw they had white tablecloths and wooden, not plastic, furniture, we decided to try it. The service was slow but it was a busy holiday weekend. The food was very good and I would not hesitate to eat there again.

Located in one of Manizales' best neighborhoods, this is one of several good options for a good meal on that very street. We arrived with no reservation for dinner and were seated immediately. We started off with a round of local (Bogotá) craft beers that were excellent (Cajicá BBC, very recommended). Then we all ordered 'buffalo' steaks and they were all very tasty, though nothing sophisticated. Keep in mind South American buffalo is an entirely different animal than North American buffalo: they taste much, much closer to beef than their northern counterpart. Our venezuelan waiter was more than friendly and helpful, which helped set the tone for the whole experience. Perhaps the only down-side was ordering a bottle of Prosecco that had not been cooled so had to be returned, which left us no choice but to order an Argentinean red wine instead. By the way, it was a pleasant surprise to find most of their wine list had extremely good prices, so don't drive there, take a cab instead ;)

We lucked out and were only a 5 minute walk from this restaurant. A little tough to find but I think that you can do it. They have indoor and outdoor seating, we sat outdoor and it got a little chilly, so if you do want to sit outside I recommend bringing a light jacket. The grill station where they were cooking all of their burgers is located on the outside front patio as well - and it smells so good (but thankfully you don't leave smelling like the bbq grill). It's a Spanish-influenced restaurant but I'm telling you - order the burger. Everyone else had burgers coming to their table so I thought well there must be something going on here and I was right. They are big, tasty and only cost 10,000 COP (about $4 usd). My wife had their shrimp ceviche. It had great flavor but came out at room temp, I like mine colder. She also had the grilled veggie salad. Yum. You cannot go wrong there either. It's a mountain of freshly grilled veggies seasoned to perfection! Bon Appetite!
