Very bad souvlaki, chunky and fat with pieces you cannot chew... oil used for frying must have been used so many frying times that made the French fries impossible to eat- let alone to digest them! If you want to eat good traditional souvlaki, go elsewhere!!!

We had driven to the Heraion at Perachora from Athens and had spotted the taverna on the way there. We promised ourselves we'd pause for dinner there on the way back, how could we pass up the chance to walk through giant amphorae?The food was fresh and simply served. The souvlaki was delicious and the salads were nicely dressed.The bread was, in particular, very tasty.Our baby was made very welcome.Some drinks we ordered never arrived, but as they were not included on the bill and we were given generous amounts of fresh water, I didn't worry too much.Sunset from the terraces was idyllic.
