If you are looking for a restaurant where you will find the excellent gastronomy, prepared in the old traditional, but also modern manner, a restaurant that will, except superior pleasure to your palate, offer a family, friendly atmosphere, and still prov
Just tried this restaurant tonight and couldnât have more positive things to say about it. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. Very high quality farm to table ingredients. Our server, Roberto, was fantastic. Incredibly attentive and welcoming, really made the experience. I never leave reviews but felt compelled to for this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and go there for dinner.
At our Sunset Pool, there is fun for the whole family, with water features, a dedicated kidsâ pool and a fantastic bar & grill. If you want lunch without wandering too far from the comfort of the pool or the beach, our Sunset Bar & Grill is the perfect op
This is a snack/light lunch bar located next to the Sunset Pool (the right hand one as you look at the sea) at the Radisson Sun Gardens. It offers a concise menu that is aimed to please most customers - burgers, wraps etc. - rather than having any particular theme, like many of the other eateries at the hotel. It's also aimed at family dining. It's outdoors but has a covered seating area that offers not only a cool, shaded environment in which to eat but also the most amazing panoramic views. In fact, due to its location, I think it has the best views from any of the hotel's restaurants. The food is prepared promptly and the portions are more than generous. The chicken fajita wrap came served like a calzone, folded on all sides, and was overflowing with well-seasoned pieces of chicken, onions and peppers. The draft beer is very chilled and goes down far too quickly but if you've been lounging in the sun or swimming in the sea for the morning, it is most welcome.Sunset Grill's party piece is its salad bar. In England, you associate salad bar with a chain restaurant and the unfulfilled expectation of wandering around loads of empty bowls full of dejected items of salad that look like they have been there for ages. Here, you have large bowls that are full of fresh ingredients, with a selection of main ingredients on the right hand side of the long salad bar and accoutrements on the left hand side, including items you just wouldn't see in England; such as fresh anchovies and huge artichokes. From memory the salad bowl is approx 70HRK/10EUR/£8 which is superb value when you realise it's an all-you-can-eat offering, so you're able - in fact encouraged - to go back and refill your bowl.If you're down by the Sunset Pool or for that matter any of the pools or on the beach, it is well worth visiting the Sunset Grill. Our lunch - main courses and salads, drinks and at least a couple of bottles of water for two - was around 450HRK/60EUR/£50, which is about what you would pay for an equivalent meal in England, so it's value for money. It's also great to come back to somewhere and for it to be as good as it was a year ago, so top marks for consistency.A very pleasant place to eat in a relaxed environment with a stunning view.
