Find out what Grill restaurants to try in Kutaisi. Kutaisi (Georgian: ქუთაისი [kʰutʰɑisi]; ancient names: Aea/Aia, Kotais, Kutatisi, Kutaïsi) is the legislative capital of Georgia, and its 3rd most populous city. Situated 221 kilometres (137 miles) west of Tbilisi, on the Rioni River, it is the capital of the western region of Imereti. Historically one of the major cities of Georgia, it served as the capital of the Kingdom of Georgia in the Middle Ages, and later as the capital of the Kingdom of Imereti. The Parliament of Georgia moved to Kutaisi in 2012, in an effort to both acknowledge the status of the city, and to decentralise the Georgian government.

Hacker-Pschorr offers high quality German beer, a wide range of delicious Georgian and European dishes, very pleasant environment, friendly staff and high level of service. We are 24/7 ready to hosting you with pleasure!
The numerous good reviews Hacker-Pshorr garnishes are well-founded as this place delivers a solid eveningâs entertainment and gastronomic delight. Despite it having a âtourist-centricâ reputation we only saw locals that evening. We started off at the bar where tenderâs Giga and Irakli entertained us with friendly banter and good local beer. And eventually they persuaded us to sample some authentic Georgian dishes that are excellent. We sat at a table and were served by the lovely Ani who delivered their Khinkali (Dumplings) that are absolutely top-notch mouth-watering and other traditional edibles whoâs names escape me. My advice is to just sit-back and let them provide your taste-buds with food and drink. You will not be disappointed. Very good service, great atmosphere, one of our best evenings in Georgia.Hello, DesertSweeperThank you very much for such a positive review. Rooftop Restaurant (otherwise known as The Grill) is on the top floor of the Best Western Hotel. It is an attractive spot with views over the town.We stayed at the hotel overnight and were pleased with the comfortable and modern rooms. Breakfast downstairs was also good. However, dinner in the Rooftop Restaurant was poor. The lamb chops were tough ; the French fries were the best part of the meal! We could not feel relaxed as the waiters seemed in a hurry to get us away. This was despite the fact that we were the only customers.
Sadly I have to give this place a bad review for their inability to resolve a simple problem. My Georgian girlfriend ordered a Caesar salad, which should not contain processed pork meat (Check any recipe). She did not want this meat and asked for the meal to be removed and the correct salad to replace it. The waiter had zero people skills and couldn't care less. It would have cost the restaurant a small amount to replace this salad with another. But stubborn , bad attitude prevailed. I will never go there again as their concern is taking the customers money without attention to customer satisfaction. My worst experience in my many trips to Kutaisi and if they cannot be polite to a Georgian girl, what hope have tourists got!!!

We ate here while watching de cup final. Everything they served was really tasty and it's normal/cheap priced, but we had to ask almost everything twice after patiently waiting for half an hour. My meal didn't even arrive at all and after asking three times, I finally got it. (Oh and when there's no football, there is super loud music)
