Burger Joint located in downtown ReykjavÃk. Naturally made burgers (meat or veggie) with organic ingredients. We offer the classic BioBorgari burger and a special burger which constantly changes according to the availability of ingredients from our local
After struggling to find decent veggie food in Reykjavik, I stumbled across BioBorgari when searching via Google. The menu is small but everything is freshly made and the veggie burger was really moist and full of flavour. Get there early as it's quite a little place so you may not get a table as it's popular with the locals and you can't make a reservation. The owner is friendly and responds quickly to online queries. Will definitely pop back if I visit Reykjavik again. Thanks for the feedback, Cat! It was great to have you and that you loved our veggie burger is a plus, since the veggie patties are made from scratch by us!We have a small cosy restaurant but since we serve "fast food", usually the customer flow moves quickly enough for people to seat by the time their food is ready. We also have compostable take-away packaging, which is another popular option for locals as well!Thank you again and we hope to see you in a nearby future on your next visit!Safe travels!

I first visited this restaurant in August 2014 and visiting Reykjavik this Year again, we were happy to repeat the fine experience of 5 years ago.Even though the place was packed (it was the night before culture Day) and we had not made a reservation, the friendly staff ensured us we would have a table in 20 minutes. We enjoyed the various delicious steaks which were perfectly prepared. Also: try the mushrooms as a side dish. They were a perfect companion for the steaks. When we go back in 5 years, we will certainly visit the place again.

Had a wonderful evening catching up with an old friend. Fun place with good service and excellent food. Neat cocktail list. Local provisions were fresh with interesting preparations. Fish sampler was perfect. Good vegetarian offerings. Pricey but worth it.

WELCOME TO APOTEK kitchen+ bar Apotek is a new and exciting restaurant located in one of the most beautiful corners of Reykjavik in Austurstraeti 16. The restaurant is casual-smart, offering delicious food in vibrant atmosphere and stylish surroundings. T
After walking to the Perlan museum (also awesome), we were looking for an afternoon snack. Walking past the Apotek Restaurant, they advertised an afternoon tea. We went in and had wonderful sandwiches, exquisite desserts, and the tea kept flowing - with wonderful street views out the windows. A great place!!

The restaurant is named after Sumac, a deep red berry that grows along the Mediterranean coast and throughout the middle east. The smell of our coal grill will greet you as soon as you enter, where we cook a mixture of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. W
We were exhausted from a day of travel and just wanted a lite bite. This place was perfect. We began with a hummus appetizer that was delicious. I had the falafel and my sister had the cauliflower....as did the couples surrounding us. My husband had the Cod and my brother in law had the shrimp screwer.... just enough delicious food for all. The bottle of wine was perfect and allowed us to sit back and review our fabulous day in the most majestic island I had ever been fortunate to travel to. Yes, I have been around the world but never experienced nature in all her glory as she has blessed Iceland.

Kröst is a modern gourmet Grill and Wine bar at the Hlemmur Food Hall in downtown ReykjavÃk. Big selection of wine by the glass and food made from seasonal local ingredients.
Situated in the old bus terminus in the heart of ReykjavÃk, Krost is one of about 6 restaurants which serve diverse gayer such as noodles, pizza, and tacos.Krost is more up-market but not overly expensive.Tables in the food hall are communal and cannot be booked so you need to grab a seat where you can. It was worth it though. We had beautiful baked cod with caramelised cauliflower and crispy potatoes. Would highly recommend for an informal meal.

Located in Central ReykjavÃk, Laugaveger 74 - Main Street. We are a quirky and fun Bistro with a twist on classic bistro dining and awesome cocktails to match.
Went with my wife and had a good draft beer and great burger (several choices on menu) and amazing (large!) Brownie for dessert. Really enjoyed the dinner and service team. In line with other Reykjavik restaurants it was not cheap but we would absolutely reccomended.
