Dear guests, the history of tourism and hospitality in the Barbic family dates back to 1972 when our grandparents, Kristo and Vinka Barbic, welcomed their first tourists. After them our parents Davor and Vilma Barbic cherished tradition of this work for m
Myself and five friends were brought here for lunch during a day boat trip.It was the best meal we had in a weeks holiday in Croatia. We had a shared starter plate of meat and cheeses, it was lovely and fresh. We then all had the pasta with truffle sauce which was divine.Service was friendly and efficient. If I am ever back in Hvar I will return.

Our restaurant is on a small beach called Mala Milna, 2 minutes walk from the village Milna. The village is situated on the south coast of the island Hvar. The city of Hvar is 5 kilometers far from us and it is well connected through buses and taxi boats
This place is stunning, the food is amazing, the views are great and the staff are lovely. Recommend ordering the PEKA but you have to order a couple hours before so I would order it and then go lay on the beach for a few hours.
Where to eat Central European food in Jelsa: The Best Restaurants and Bars
A restaurant with tasty fish and meat dishes and large selection of quality wines. Welcome everyone.
Stopped for a light lunch with family on day trip to Stari Grad. Nice setting on the square. We had club sandwiches, burger and veggie burger, all of which were really nicely cooked and good size, far better than what we have had elsewhere. Great chips. Service was good. thank you

TL;DR: You really don't even need to read my review--just go to this restaurant ASAP! The food, service, and ambiance are all outstanding. Enjoy! :)While not on the water, this restaurant has a lovely ambiance down a quiet side street in Stari Grad, overlooking the beautiful Dominican Monastery. The food was incredible and I wish I would've had more than one meal here!I had a fresh salad, delightful house red, and life-changing homemade truffle pasta. (I actually went back the next day to see if they were open for lunch before I left on the ferry just so I could get it to-go, and Chef Vinko made me a tasty and unique mediterranean gin and tonic with fresh herbs from the area--highly recommend!) Even though I was very full, Chef Vinko sent out his famous almond semifredo and grappa, and just wow. The flavors of each dish were cultivated with extreme attention to detail and the presentation confirmed that Chef Vinko takes great care in each and every dish he makes. It is obvious that he has spent years honing his craft. Additionally, Michele provided excellent service and was extremely warm and hospitable. ...and really, if you are looking around to see where to go, just go here. You will be so glad you did. Dobar tek!

Just arrived in jelsa for our last few nights in Croatia. Walking along seafront and came across this little gem of a place. Reading the menu and special board, no pressure to come in. We got a table for four, Mum, dad, 2 sons 18 and 15. The waiter was so laid back but attentive. I went for the shrimp but had never eaten it before, beautiful. Everyone elseâs plates went back empty. The view of the harbour really added to our experience. Had a glass of the local red and white wine, again fantastic. We had the ice cream cake to finish, very good. Brilliant food, excellent service, well done.
