Indian Restaurant converted from an original pub, serving the best Indian Food in Hertfordshire. Takeaways available alongside Inside dining in the perfect atmosphere.
I highly recommend eating at Chandini's, there is a great choice of Indian cuisine including vegetarian options. I have just tried their Quorn Tikka Balti Palak, it was delicious! I will definitely order that again. The service at Chandini's is always friendly and if you're unsure what you want, they will recommend dishes to suit your tastes. There is parking around the back of the restaurant and wheelchair access.

Cork & Skewer cuisine is deliciously different - classic English and Mediterranean fare with an added dash of flavour and style. Whether you're looking for a light or full English breakfast, a lunchtime special or a memorable evening meal with family and
Booked a table of 14 at last minute and was worried based on reviews......couldn't have been more wrong. To start the waitress (sherri) was wonderful. Understood the menu was polite and refreshingly helpful, made recommendations and even better had a fantastic Gin bar and offered great value cocktails. My only criticism is the main sharing platter is huge (amazing value for money but how 2 people share that is beyond me) but absolutely delicious. Forget way more expensive restaurants in the area. If you want truly authentic Greek food which is amazing and superb value for money this is the place to go !! Forget getting a take away in a polystyrene box....get yourself down to the restaurant to experience great food as it is meant to be served.I was so impressed I have actually booked a private function here for less than a I would have paid for a communal hall ! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Dropped in on the way to Stansted Airport, were looking for lunch on a Monday and had some time to spare. Was a distance from the M11 and possibly is overlooked as there is another pub on the corner of the lane leading to the Moor Hen (closed on a Monday). Large car park, could see various activities for younger people and canal boats moored up. The garden area is probably very busy in the summer. Dinning is upstairs, plenty of room for us (5 eating), extensive menu (suiting all tastes) and wide range of drinks. Lunch time it is 2 for 1 on a range of meals. We were seated promptly and given our menus. We ordered drinks and meals. All came promptly and well presented. The Mac n'cheese (with bacon) was enjoyed, I liked my hunters chicken and Mr S enjoyed his steak and ale pie. Cant fault the service or the value. Would definitely return, and worth the detour to avoid Birchanger fast food. Jordon was our server and looked after us well.Hi juliasJ111OT,Wow, what a lovely review! Our team here work extremely hard to deliver our guests a great experience and we are delighted to hear that your visit lived up to your expectations and oursI will make sure this feedback is shared with the whole team, especially our amazing chefs and Jordan, who looked after you so well.We would like to get some more feedback to try and see what we could have improved on to change your review to a 5* one. Please feel free to call us on 01279 423066 if we can be of any assistance in the future or just pop in next time you are passing through.Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review, we hope to see you again soon.
