Cayman's favorite beach restaurant - worth going further for! Part thatched tiki bar, part European beach chic, part breezy Californian cool, and a generous dose of Caribbean nauticalia â youâre in for an aesthetic treat at this Cayman beachfront restaura
We caught the water taxi from Camina Bay and rather than heading straight for the restaurant we walked round to Starfish Point. On our way back we stopped at the restaurant for some soft drinks and a chance to chat to Fabio who having worked in Scotland had a very English sense of humour! Lovely Italian guy.The view of the beach as we waited for the taxi was very tranquil and if we come back we would stop and eat here as it was so beautiful.

This famous restaurant will command your attention the moment you enter. The original English double decker bus is incorporated into the unique bar/lounge and giant palms and colonial pillars frame the outdoor terrace, providing you with a charming alfres
Captain Mario of Acquarius snorkel tours recommended this place. Very romantic with upholstered banquettes, table linens, candles shining off glassware, and nice bar area, all covered, outdoors, with fans. Palms create a cozy room feeling. We had all you can eat Caribbean lobster tails. Sweet, delicious, grilled and seasoned to perfection (not too salty). Happy hour tasty white wine. Excellent Caesar salad included; yummy veggies, too. French waiter was very professional. My friend had about 8 tails; I had about 12! Pull them out of the shell and get 2 delicious strips to slice up. A wonderful singer/guitar duo played, a couple got engaged, the night was perfect... $50 Cayman. I am a very critical person, so I will say the black napkins on white tablecloths looked lovely, but there was too much polyester to make them absorbent. This was the best dinner I have had in many years. Kudos!

In the mood for a margarita and ceviche with a side of ocean breezes? Say hola to Coccoloba, a mash-up of culinary influences from our own island and coastal Mexico. Here on Grand Cayman, it's rare to find a restaurant situated in the sand - and yet there
Absolutely fantastic casual restaurant at the Kimpton Seafire. We spent 5 days at the Seafire and ate almost every lunch and several dinners here. The food was spectacular and I enjoyed that I could arrive either cleaned up or still in my beachwear and cover up. An important fact when your kids refuse to leave the beach until sunset. The servers were great here and always asked about food allergies. The food was on point. In fact, my husband thought it was better than the fancier food at Ave. I personally thought both were good. Different, but both good. They serve beach side lunch for guests of the hotel which was amazing as well. It is outdoors which means a wonderful view, but come sunset you WILL need the bug spray. We got eaten alive our first day or two before we realized this. Not the resort or restaurant's fault at all. It is a tropical island afterall. It is family friendly, so don't expect it to be quiet or adults only. Lots of families and kids, but that is the beauty of the place as well. Would highly recommend stopping by, especially on Taco Tuesday (such good tacos).Hello aack22,Thank you very much for dining with us at Coccoloba. I am glad to hear that you liked the food and the ambiance. We source the best of the ingredients and take a lot of pride in our menu and offerings. We strive to ensure that every guest gets a memorable experience.Thank you very much for such a wonderful shout out.I will pass your amazing compliments to the team and look forward to welcoming you back soon.Regards,Himanshu Jethi.

Love this place. Weâve been back a couple of time and now make it a regular stop each trip. The burgers are great, in particular I love the veggie burger. Nice to have a veggie burger that doesnât mean black bean bland burger! Keep it up Seven Mile, you are doing something great!Fishbaby,Wouldn't it be great if we all chose a 2nd name? Thanks for the kind review. We are trying out techniques to infuse more concentrated flavors in our veggie burgers.CheersMike

Where to eat Steakhouse food in Grand Cayman: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Modern Irish Steakhouse and Gastropub. Featuring an open kitchen, Fantastic cocktails and comfortable atmosphere.
I really donât like going on vacation and having a restaurant meal that sucks (who does??). In the Caribbean, that means a great waterfront view with not very well prepared âfreshâ seafood. The Kitchen is the kind of place you go to and get instantly sad because you know you wonât get to eat there again until the next time you come to the Caymans and thatâs going to be way too long.Oxtail ravioli were so good. My husband loved his steak, which came with sides. The Mac and Cheese side was delicious. Service was discrete, friendly, and really exceptional. Seriously good food - check it out.
