Local village pub & resturant, recently refurbished with a new restaurant and function space, The Hayloft. Located in the heart of the beautiful boutique village, Cuckfield in West Sussex. Delicious selection of Lunch, Evening and Sunday menus food as wel
Had a meal for 6 on Bank holiday Monday.Unfortunately 2 steaks that were ordered medium rare were served well done. However, they were replaced with apologies and without question with 2 perfect steaks and to my surprise,we weren't charged for these items. All of the other meals were perfect and we had a great time.Sometimes its about how you correct a problem and the Talbot deals with it perfectly and I would"nt hesitate in returning.

I hadn't been to Harvester for 25 years or so since I was a kid. Overall impression after this visit was that the only reason to visit is it's somewhere where kids can kick off and you won't get tutted at by other diners.First impressions weren't great, it was untidy - the floor needed sweeping and lots of uncleared tables. The 'free' salad bar was underwhelming with unappealing dry food that had been out for too long. Mains were average, similar to weatherspoons standard but double the price. £2.99 for 4 onion rings was terrible value. On the side the service was friendly and efficient.Stevetlewes, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around.

Quintessential English genuine freehouse serving a great variety of real ales, home cooked foods and friendly smiles.
Royal Oak Inn never fails to please The landlady oozes passion for good home cooked food. She has a great chef with equal passion. Ordered Garlic Chicken. The best was tasty, tender and succulent. It comes with a very generous portion of skinny fries and equally generous tasty salad and peas. Hubby chose the rotisserie chicken. He was extremely happy and satisfied with his lunch. Again tender tasty chicken and generous portions. All eaten in the small but comfy, relaxing garden at the rear of the pub Friendly, feel good factor country pub. Totally recommend!

With hand-warming fires and heart-warming food, The Red Lion in Lindfield is the local you've been looking for. From the moment you walk in, you'll see why regulars come to sample our latest real ales.By the time you start to savour that reassuring pint o
The service from the moment we have walked in is disgusting on Easter Monday afternoon . From waiting 10minutes to be served a drink at am empty bar, to have been served by a miserable young boy after having been ignored by 2 just as miserable young girls. The sharing starter we ordered was utterly shocking as the camembert was not even big enough for one person. We had to go to the bar 3 times as everything we wanted they didn't have. No eye contact no service no atmosphere. Honestly the worst place I have ever been. If I was the manager or owner of that place I would be highly dissatisfied with the people who I have let run my establishmentIt seems that you have had a shocker of a visit and I hold my hands up and apologise unreservedly. As you can see from our many very good reviews that we normally get it right I am not sure whether it was tiredness after a long hot bank holiday but I am normally so proud of my team here so we will sit down together to find out what went wrongPeter BrownManager
