We have had food delivered from here a few times but have always found the portions of food that isn't Pizza small. The Pizzas we have always found to be greasy to the point of dripping and the last time we got food from there I collected and when I got the pizzas home the bottom of the pizza box was so sodden it stained my passenger car seat :(Portions and quality I have found better elsewhere. Hi SevensUP.Why haven't you ever contacted us about any issues?This is certainly the first I've heard of this, and we can't fix a problem if we don't know about it.As regards to portion sizes, portion control is very important to us and we're constantly reviewing our portion sizes to ensure they are consistent. I'm sorry if you feel some portions are not big enough, we only use the highest quality products here so often cost us a lot more than other places. Anything that comes in a quantity is clearly stated on our menu.The price of products have gone up a tremendous amount over recent years and we haven't changed any of our portion sizes in the 10 years we've been open, unless we've changed product where a new product is a different size.I wish you well ordering elsewhere

What a fantastic night was had at Hardy's Mayland Essex on Saturday. The music, the food and company was 5*****. Once again thank you to Elaine Stu, DJ and all the gang for making this a very special birthday for my husband. These nights are so special well organized and great value. Came in for my Mum's free round of birthday cocktails. I find Revolution a lot more bearable during the day, as I'm not really a crowd person and it gets super busy at night. As it was, we visited in the early afternoon and were able to sit upstairs (where only one other table was seated) and relax whilst we drank our cocktails. I chose the new Rockstar Martini which was really sweet and tasty and complete with edible lips and glitter. I enjoy the cocktails a lot more when they're quiet because the bar staff have time to add the little touches shown on the menu; whereas in the evening they are a lot more rushed and things are missed. I do really enjoy the odd trip to Revolution but, in my opinion, it's really not up to scratch when it's busy. A small(ish) restaurant run by a Greek family with great traditional recipes.Friendly, helpful staff fully conversant with the recipe and ingredients of everything on offer, including the Greek bottled beers and wine. A little bright inside perhaps for an intimate or romantic meal but you won't be disappointed (unless you come expecting to find dancing and plate-smashing).
