Reviews on Grill food in Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District, Argentina. Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city, a melting pot of very different types of people who have shaped the identity of each of its neighborhoods. Wave after wave of immigration, along with the porteños’ penchant for looking abroad, have infused each area with its own unique features, be it Recoleta’s aristocratic legacy or San Telmo’s love affair with tango.

Authentic French Brasserie with traditional French cuisine, onion soup, steak tartar, duck confit, beef bourguignon, salmon tartar, profiteroles, tatin tart and of course the best creme brulee in Buenos Aires.
I am a frequent visitor to Buenos Aires and as such I have dined at many, as well as the top reputed steak restaurants in the city. My dinner at Brasserie Pentanque was by far the best, most flavorful and tender cut of beef that I have had here in BA. I went with the recommendations if my server (Daniel) and was not dissapointed. I started with the French Onion soup and then for my entree I chose the Tournedo, and finished the chocolate mouse trio. Everything was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend that you book a table the next time you are in BA.

Stopped in based on TA reviews as Iâm was staying in hotel nearby. I tried to get in Sunday evening and it jam packed so I came back after lunch a few days later. Got a spot, but still crowded. Ordered el diablo and it was outstanding. Good pork sausage with very good sauces to add. Added a lager draft and it was a great lunch. Definitely will go again before my trip ends.

A warm family run restaurant in the heart of San Telmo district of Buenos Aires. This restaurant is a hidden gem and one of Buenos Aires best kept secrets. Enjoy highly personal service specializing in genuine Parrilla.
I dined here twice in 4 days during my visit to Buenos Aires August 18-14, 2019.I arrived into town late and the reception at my hotel in San Telmo directed me to this restaurant. I went solo and was greeted by a friendly waiter who was the owner's son. He recognized that I was struggling with some of the Spanish descriptions and spoke to me in English in a kind, friendly manner.I ordered the "Bife chorizo", which is the standard Buenos Aires steak, and a large green salad with chicken. The meat was excellent and the portion was huge, enough for three people. I was happy to be able to get a large green salad as well. The salad has lettuce, spinach, and beautiful sliced red tomatos.I ordered the flan for dessert and it was sweet and flavorful.I went back two days later and Marina, one of the family members, was the server. She was friendly and helpful and we were able to chat about the neighborhood and the family business. It was a good experience! This restaurant is classic corner bistro with great simple food. The decor is wood and simple but attractive Argentinian dining room. The ambience is low key elegance, no frills, but cool interior. There are many "tourist" steakhouses to visit in Buenos Aires, and in the Centro, and San Telmo areas. They are crowded and expensive and hurried.Javi's is laid back, friendly, classic, and the kind of place that you want to give your attention to. Nice people and good food!

Great fun evening at the Argentine Experience. A lesson in empanada and mate making whilst eating good food and wine, plus a fun empanada making competition. Main steak course was fab. We believe fun is contagious! We believe a big part of what makes our traditions quite so present in our daily life is that they all involve family and friends: be that a grandmother that taught repulgue or a childhood friend with whom we drank mate by the river, all these traditions have a strong human component. At The Argentine Experience we try to replicate a little bit of that creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere throughout the night. We hope to see you back soon! The Fogon experience is excellent! The staff take you on a journey through a traditional Argentine asado and explain the cooking process, the ingredients and the history as you enjoy the meal. The wine pairing is carefully thought out - I would recommend the Premium selection! The food itself is delicious and abundant. The restaurant is set up so everyone is circled around the grill in the middle which makes it easy to speak with other guests which I believe adds to the experience. You will leave the restaurant with lots of new information and a full and very happy tummy!Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are delighted to see you enjoyed your evening with us. At Fogón Asado we aimed to create an experience that would closely resemble the asado tradition of Argentina whilst still feeling indulgent and elegant. We wanted to combine the social aspect of asados, often missed in many restaurants, and the typical cuts with a modern twist and feel. Our goal is for our guests to enjoy themselves, eat some the best meat our country has to offer and, hopefully, meet new people, for asados are always best enjoyed amongst friends and family! We always take great care in the preparation and presentation of our dishes, we love sharing our culture and introducing new people to this wonderful tradition of ours. We hope to welcome you back soon, Kind regards The Fogón Asado team.
