Authentic Italian-Argentine cuisine in Puerto Vallarta with Traditional Recipes of Pasta, Pizza, Grilled Steaks, Argentinian Empanadas & Wines.
Despite dozens of visits to PV, we hadnât eaten here and we were missing out! This was a nice break from the local fareand pizza and pastas which could sell well in Chicago. Despite missing out on the limited seating in AC, we had fans and windows to mitigate the heat. Service was very good and attentive. We stuck with beer and wine so no bartendibg assessment can be offered. The empanadas were very good.... veggie and meat in a delicious pasty shell. The roasted Caesar salad had a nice anchovy tinged dressings day was great. The two pizzas were excellent, great crust, cheese and toppings. We had a combo of mushrooms, artichokes, black olives and turkey ham. We also shared the veggie which was nicely topped with an array of veggies. The lasagna was also excellent, with an almost crispy burnt cheese top, fresh pasta and a flavorful red sauce. Spaghetti In red sauce with little meatballs was the forth choice and the pasta was so fresh. No room for dessert and a modest cost of 30$us pp including liquor and tip. Weâll be back!Muchisimas gracias por visitarnos, es un placer para nosotros ofrecerles siempre lo mejor , deseandoles que regresen pronto,Excelente dia

Madison South is part of the Casa Isabel resort. Overlooking Banderas Bay enjoy romantic dinners while watching the sunset. Watch NFL, NHL and NBA on one of our 10 large screen televisions. Daily happy hour specials and use of our infinity pool while at t
We often look up on the south mountains of the city and see this magnificent place all lit up, more than half way up the hill. Well here we were Saturday evening, wandering around downtown PV, but trying back streets we had not previously travelled. We looked up and although it was late afternoon, we were just below Casa Isabel, and I mean a long way below. We looked at each other and said, "Lets do it." Called an Uber and up the hill we went, and were damn glad we did. This is a climb, as we discovered on our walk down. Not interested in dinner, preferring to be casual, we entered the restaurant/bar and grabbed a couple of seats at the end of the bar, looking out over the bay, and the city to the north. A view worth the price. Still being happy hour, we ordered a couple of margaritas and I tell you they were not to disappoint. Actually Angie asked if I could drink her margaritas as it was a little strong, and she would order her Bacardi and coke. I sacrificed myself, and away we went. We then ordered off of the appetizer menu, mussels and bruscchetta which was absolutely delicious, and drove us forward to order more. We followed up with one plate of El Mercado, a mixed fish dinner with risotto and a few veggies. Again this met all of our expectations. Want a nice relaxing evening without getting over dressed, and not being bled for all your money, try it out. Service was as spectacular as the restaurant and as was the view. This was all topped off with a fellow playing guitar and singing. Don't forget to tip him. Great experience, recommend. Take a ride up and walk back down. Or better yet, get a room. Just over $1000 pesos plus tip.

We have the best tacos in town!
The tacos were delicious and highly recommended. We had the tacos al pastor with cilantro and onion. The al pastor meat was delicious and very flavourful. This is a must for any taco aficionados. Staff was very attentive and the decor and ambiance was very nice. Highly recommended!

Mike's Beach Club at Las Ãnimas. Restaurant and Beach Club. Mexican food, beach games, chill out area...
We landed here on a snorkeling tour. We were part of a work group who thought they were only going snorkeling only to find we were snorkeling, then going to an Adventure park for some climbing and zip-lining (next to Mike's), then a nice lunch at Mike's. It was buffet style for our group, which was good. But the best part? Were the home-made corn tortillas made right there and cooked on a hot pizza stone over a fire. Nice spot seemed only accessible by boat.

Located in a pristine, white sandy beach cove 40 minutes south of Puerto Vallarta, Ocean Live Love Grill is a spectacular ocean restaurant, and a destination on its own. We take reservations only. It's an experience!!
After weeks of reading reviews and planning a great outing for our family vacation.. I was super excited to visit Ocean Grill! First, it takes about 35 minutes from Vallarta to catch the water taxi.. okay.. part of the adventure.. itâll all be worth it.. then, once you get there.. you walk a bit of a way to catch a water taxi. There are MANY water taxis to get you to the restaurant.. you donât have to use theirs. Water ride is about 20 minutes.. we knew this and planned for it.. Second, as soon as you get out of the water taxi.. you are greeted by someone (super exiting).. you walk up some huge stairs.. and you see a huge dog!.. okay, for those who like animals great.. even cute.. but I am deadly afraid of dogs!! Our guy blocked the dog so our group could pass. As soon as you pass through the door.. the greeter and the server.. check the clock and your time starts!Third, the service... did I mention that it was only two groups when we got there? Yup, our group of 7 and a group of 3. They gave us such a hard time because we wanted to sit closer to the view.. yes, I know, how demanding... but.. the place was empty AND isnât that one of the reasons you got to this place? My group ordered.. as soon as we got seated.. this is NOT a place to sit and enjoy the view.. you are rushed and honestly.. made to feel like you are a bother! Food was brought (Burgers, steak, shrimp, BBQ ribs and catch of the day).. burgers were left, steaks were VERY good, shrimp (3 of them.. yes.. only 3) were okay, fish was not tasteful.. no flavor.. ribs.. only a couple of bites were taken.. undercooked and just.. bad. The only good thing we ordered was the coffee.. it was Nespresso.! While you are eating.. servers keep walking by you and basic rushing you to finish. Did I mention the place was EMPTY!? Remember the dog I mentioned.. yup.. she walks around the place while you are eating.. she came up to our table and put her head on the table (sheâs that big).. and her drool was right next to the steak! Nope, definitely not okay!!! We asked the servers multiple times to please remove the dog.. and reminded them that we were not comfortable eating with it at our table. We got the same response.. we canât move her.. sheâs the owners dog and we get in trouble if we do anything.. excuse me? If I am paying... donât I deserve to enjoy my meal and the limited time I have?... bill came out to over $360! If I had enjoyed our food and experience.. I would gladly pay that and more.. but that wasnât the case! Finally, the beach! Remember the beach that they feature in the video etc.,? Well.. itâs a public beach itâs NOT part of the restaurant.. to get there.. you walk on a rackety bridge.. then you make your way through big rocks that you are praying you donât fall off or loose your footing (FYI.. older folks, kids or those that are not in shape .. WILL HAVE LOTS OF TROUBLE GETTING THERE).. you make it to the beach and itâs honestly bad! Itâs dirty and crowded. Ocean Grill was a disappointment! For what you spend on a rushed meal.. you can ask one of the water taxis to take out out for the day.. snorkeling, to private clean pools and enjoy a great meal..that view that you pay so much to spend 2 hours for. You can get ANYWHERE on the beach! Donât believe the hype. Not worth it!Hola!Thank you for getting the time to review us, I'm sorry we didn't accomplished your expectations. The long review you wrote is basically the reason our regular customers come to our restaurant: the view, Wilson and the experience of being out of the city.We wish you had readen a little of our website, we mention there that we have three seatings a day, that you have 2 hours just for taking your meal, after that you can go for a walk, to the beach next to us walking ONE minute (I'm sorry but in Mexico all the beaches are public), you can go to the river, to the next beaches 10 minutes walking that are almost empty or just spend some time at our lounge... in case you want to spend 2 hours more to our next trip back to Boca.As you mentioned, yes, you can do take another water taxi, there´s no trouble for that. In our panga you only make 5 minutes to get to the restaurant by the way. But you have to be there on time, and you were there 20 minutes late and the other part of your group 1 hour late. Even so, they were welcomed and served (even we are working with only 3 seatings during almost 9 years now). The waiters normally walk around you in case they need to clean something or if you need something else, it's usual in a restaurant, we are sorry you felt rushed. You were given so many options on the seating, you decided to sit right in the corner and little tight for the big of your gruop, even we gave you our recommendations. It's a shame you wasted your time, but in our website you can find all the information of our restaurant and even we have a blog telling How to get to Ocean Grill.Best regards.
