First established in 1917 as a summer resort destination, Bella Vista has evolved and redesigned itself over the succeeding years. Bella Vista became a retirement community in 1965, and, after much contention and a 2006 vote of its property owners, became an incorporated city. Following its official incorporation on January 1, 2007, the new city government took over the police department, fire department, streets, trash removal and other city functions, while the Property Owners Association (POA) retained control of the many amenities available to homeowners and their guests. Amenities include numerous parks, clubhouses with workout areas, swimming pools, seven golf courses, seven lakes with fishing and boat docks, a marina, swimming beach, putt putt golf courses and tennis courts, and extensive hiking and biking trails throughout its beautiful Ozark hills.

Finished Bella Vista Arts Crafts Festival and wanted lunch. Both of us enjoyed our lunch. I had grilled cheese sandwich, and husband cook sandwich. Service was prompt. French Fries excellent. Also nice selection of desserts. Would definitely recommend if visiting Bella Vista

We come here often. Highly recommend the chicken Milanesa if they have it. (They donât always) Chips and guacamole are a must. They have the best chips! Also, the torta. Great atmosphere. The staff is always super friendly and if the chef is around he is always checking on the customers.

I'm not big on bar scenes, and don't play much pool, so I was a tad out of place here, but the staff made me feel most welcome, the beer was cold (and good), and the burger ... Well, it was a double decker, and I wasn't terribly hungry, but the menu description won me over. I figured I'd save half for breakfast, so asked for a take home box when I placed my order.The burger was so big I could not get my mouth around the whole thing, so I ended up taking a bite of the lower patty and bun and then a bite of the upper patty and bun. And it was so good that I never did use the take home box -- finished the whole thing right there. It definitely satisfied the carnivore in me.Thank you so much for the amazing review. We hope that you have had the opportunity to visit our new location at the corner of hwy 90 and 71 in the old Steak Old building. We have LOTS of room and the same great hand made food!
