During our road trip through Portugal, we accidentally stepped into this bar while visiting the lovely village Cuba. We were the only couple sitting in the garden and were served perfectly by the friendly waitress. Cause we were visiting this place in low season, we did not expect the kitchen to be ready. But it was the total opposite. The chef prepared a perfect tapas menu. For us this restaurant made our visit to Cuba something we won't forget.

The restaurant Dom Dinis is located along one of the most iconic national monuments : the castle keep of Beja Castle. The geographical location gives you a series of parking solutions in various streets surrounding this area of great historical interest ,
Located across from the Beja Castle this is a true Portugese experience. The restaurant specializes in the meats and tradional Portugese cuisine of the Alentjo region. They specialize in the black pork for which the region is famouse and we had it two ways. It was served with a traditional Portugese bread style accompaniement made in a cast iron pan which was excellent, one had asparagus within it. The server was great and while very little English is spoken everyone was very friendly and accomodating and we were well understood.Boa noite caro Tigandgrace,Muito obrigado pela sua visita e pela descrição do seu comentário. Restaurant food made to order, which is necessary to allow time for things to happen, usually customers arrive all at the same time and so with a small kitchen there is no way to do everything at once, but we do requests by order of the kitchen. it comes
This was without doubt our favourite of the restaurants that we ate at in Evora. Located away from the centre near the city wall and ring road, this family-run restaurant serving local dishes is well worth seeking out. Without pretension the place is welcoming with great food and service and very reasonable prices. I'd say booking is advisable but not absolutely necessary, although it may become so later in the evening. I had the pork ribs with migas, my wife the tuna with garlic and pink peppercorns and we'd commend them both. We'll definitely return here.

Great cosy and familiar ambiance. Excellent service (fast and everyone very nice) and the best? The food. Best meat and fish around, generous and perfectly cooked. Also very generous served which makes it a very good deal on top of everything.
