We had a great evening st Thalassa. The owner personally welcomed us with two glasses of ouzo before we struggled to finally choose several of the many great options on the menu. The mixed spit of grilled meats was excellent as was the pitta grilled with garlic. The moussaka tasted as great as it looked. After dessert, the owner came by again with a glass of warm metaxa. While not a cognac fan, this was surprisingly smooth and a nice ending to the night. Only fault keeping this from a 5 star review is a few hiccups from not writing down all of our order. But the food when finally served as ordered was fantastic and the service and atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend

It is an excellent Greek restaurant with great service and delicious food. The appetizer plate was super, the gyros was very tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot to highlight, that I cannot handle onions and it was covered. The staff is helpful and adjusted to the rhythm of our team. They had a great word to everyone. I can highly recommend.

I write this in English for my American and English friends... if you are in this area please make an effort to visit Poseidon. Inside of the Baldhamer Hof at the Baldham S-bahn station, this family-run, ultra clean and affordable place serves Greek fare in large, delicious portions for an excellent price. Attentive, friendly service, and a great atmosphere both inside the remodeled building or wintergarden, or in warm weather in the beergarden, will present you with a pleasant experience. A playground is also outside for the kids, who are welcomed here. Complimentary ouzo and delicious desserts top it off. I have been a customer for a few years now, and visit often. Especially recommended is the gyros in Metaxa sauce, it's fantastic. Hellas!

Located on the edge of a residential district near where we were staying, this Greek restaurant had caught our eye (and ear -- they often have Greek music on weekends), and we decided to try it. We were delighted! The restaurant is very inviting inside, with wood paneling and comfortable seating, but the evening was nice so we decided to sit in the large outdoor area. The outdoor area has tables under shade trees, and some under canvas cover in case of rain, and we opted for a shade tree. The menu features quite an array of Greek dishes, and after some some consideration I decided on one of my favorites, Bifteki (lean seasoned ground beef in a patty, with Feta cheese inside, then grilled until hot clear through and the Feta cheese starts meting into the meat). My companion chose a lighter dish, grilled eggplant, and pronounced it exquisite. I was very satisfied with the bifteki, and highly recommend it, but be warned, the serving is extremely generous. I couldn't finish the portion, and asked if they could wrap the remainder -- much too delicious to abandon -- for me to take with. They said they were happy to do so, and it appeared the request was not out of the ordinary, as I noticed other diners also departing with "doggie bags".The staff were excellent; prompt, attentive, pleasant, and ready to offer helpful suggestions. We ended with a glass each of chilled ouzo, a perfect ending to a wonderful meal al fresco on the edge of a woods.

Very nice Greek restaurant in the east part of Munich. There is a big parking area on the backyard of the building. And it is just next to railway station. We ordered octopus and Dorado. Everything was very delicious. Good atmosphere. Everything as expected and according to evaluation score at TripAdvisor.
