The restaurant is out of the city centre, but is near a tramline so is relatively easy to get to. Upon arrival we were given a very friendly welcome and the service was top notch. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere and the food was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone who fancies good Greek food.

Wir waren sehr begeistert von der Gastfreundschaft und dem Essen. Das Service Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir hatten einen Gyrosteller und ein überbackenes Gyros mit Metaxasauce und Feta... beides sehr lecker. Richtig begeistert war ich davon, dass es die Metaxasauce auch separat als Beilage gab, so konnte ich es zum dippen meines Gyros und der Pommes einfach dazu bestellen statt direkt alles überbacken zu bekommen. Auch begeistert waren wir von der Karte, da es auch Moussaka und andere griechische Spezialitäten gab die leider oft in griechischen Restaurants fehlen.Zur BegrüÃung brachte man uns erst einmal einen Ouzo und einen weiteren mit der Rechnung. Das Lokal war gut besucht, es hat sich wohl schon herumgesprochen mit der guten Küche. Wir waren an einem Samstag Abend da und haben gerade noch einen Tisch bekommen.Beim nächsten Leipzig Besuch gerne wieder!

This month we spent with my family a coule of days in Delitzsch and Athos restaurant was actually the highlight of this trip! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic! I m greek and I live abroad many years, so I ve visited a lot of Greek restaurants but this one was the best of the best! Actually is better than restaurants in Greece! The owner (Pantelis) is incredibly kind and pleasant person! Also, the staff was nice and friendly. We are totally satisfied! We enjoyed the experience, we felt like home and we cant wait to come back soon!Greek hospitality at its best! Thank you Pantelis! Fay, Christos and Angelica!

We went to this restaurant on a Thursday evening simply because it was very close to the hotel we were staying in. From the outside it didn't look like anything special, and it wasn't very busy either, which can be a sign that a place isn't very good.In fact, it was excellent! The service was some of the best I have experienced in any restaurant, with the waiter knowing exactly when to appear and not to interrupt a conversation, etc.The food was very well prepared - some of the best, if not the very best, souvlaki I have ever had.I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting Leipzig. The prices were very reasonable as well.

On a gloriously hot Sunday in August, we went for a ride on the Leipzig Hop-On, Hop-Off bus and were fortunate to alight at the Könneritzbrücke west of Leipzig City Centre. The lunch we had was delicious, the staff friendly and efficient, the setting beside the river delightful and cool on such a hot day. I would warmly recommend both the bus and the restaurant.
