Family Mediterranean restaurant with delicious homemade Greek food and nice atmosphere. Draft beer (Alfa) and good wine + random small meal with every beverage for free.
Reading the reviews I was pleased to find a traditional greek taverna and thought we would be making numerous visits, but unfortunately we were not impressed. The menu it quite limited. We started with tzatziki which was good then pork cooked in a paper parcel an oven chicken with potatoes. The taste was OK but the portions were small. There was nothing else on the menu that we really wanted to try so did not make a resturn visit

The restaurant looks nice but has the worst service we got in the town of Syvota where we stayed for a week it is very unauthentic and over priced comparing to the amazing restaurants that you find around.

Can only comment on the pork Giros. For me a good giros comes from layers of pork put together one on top of the other to give the giros shape and then well cooked. The consistency of this giros was pre-formed pork which was shaved off wafer thin and with no taste.Would not recommend for Giros - Try Spiro VagelisThank you dear friend for your advice on the construction of the Greek giros. So... we failed ......From tomorrow we will close the shop and we all go together to eat giro in Spiros Vangelis.

We were there 4 families for a dinner. The food was tasty but a little bit strange. Greek salad with capers and croutons was good but strange. The octopus was really small for my teast. The location of the restaurant is charming, just next to the sea. Just the service was not bad, but..... some drinks and food we have to order a couple of times.

Greek traditional restuarant !!!!Fresh fish and a lot of plates and starters from ipiros to taste!!!
Such fabulous fresh seafood and this review coming from a group of Italian foodies from Puglia! We were the only guests there as it's still early In The season, but this lovely family served only the best for us and we even met their lovely daughters. We had a spaghetti frutta al mare which was so delicious we were eating the sauce with spoons from the serving bowl! Then stuffed calamari filled with peppers, garlic and feta cheese which was melt in mouth orgasmic as the local feta is artisan and out of this world, nothing like what we get outside Greece. Alongside was shrimp with cheese sauce (which means feta again) and bursting with fresh shrimp flavor and feta melting into the sauce. Thank you Dimitra and Cristian!

We ate out in Syvota every evening for the week we were there and this place won our favourite meal. The mixed grill was delicious- really tender and juicy with that chargrilled flavour. The carbonara was the best Iâve tried and the salad was very generous. However, the best thing was they serve a range of Corfu craft beers, which was a welcome change from the regular lager for a real ale fan like myself.

Super seafood and a lovely terrace from which to watch the sunset over the emerald bay. Only 2 things marred a 5 star review:1) the initial reluctance of the waiter to pull 2 tables together and move them 2 feet. 2) the wait of 10 minutes between the 2 sets of our main courses arriving. However, the second waiter was great fun and gave us some free watermelon and grappa so overall a top meal.

Nice place this. interesting menu and great location - the introductory menu talk is unnecessary delivered without enthusiasm and no eye contact that frankly put us off.Sorry Ostria - just stick to the cooking that you're good at.

We had the Best seafood platter weâd ever eaten - and We oftenGo for a seafood platter in Greece and the Adriatic. The calamari were just perfect, the steamed mussels were the best weâd ever had - so succulent. Fish was great, deep fried white bait lovely and there were two really delicious king prawns. And a wonderful sunset to top it all offSuch a shame we only spent one night in Syvota or weâd have gone there every day!

It seem a nonsense, but eating a good and fresh fish in Greek islands is not easy at all, especially at a reasonable price. I had to arrive to the very last day of my vacation to find the perfect one, matching quality to taste, freshness to good and pleasable service. I come twice in two days, and both times very happy; The only negative point is that it is in a parking area, but...fine, acceptable anyhow. We had octopus, squids, anchovies, pasta (for the kid, which I have tasted too), mussles and vegetalbes. All very good, with interesting portions too. Also side orders very tasty and not usual. Great.
