Been to JJ's twice to catch up with some girlfriends - Saturday afternoon on the spur of the moment type of decision. We received friendly service and the prices are reasonable. We have always just had coffee and cake type of food at JJ's. It is always tasty and feel content after sharing some time with friends over a cup of coffee. You can sit inside or outside and it is across the road from the beach, so also some lovely views.

My wife and I and two friends were there for supper on27 May 2019. The ambience and decor were inviting. The waiter was well informed about the menu. Drinks were served quickly, but we waited ages for our food despite the fact that the restaurant was empty. Portions were small and the pizza was bland. Thereafter we ordered dom pedros and coffee. Again we waited about 20 minutes. Unacceptable. We won't go back.

Simply Greek was born late 2016 and prepares healthy, fresh, Greek and Mediterranean dishes and tapas with traditional spice blends using recipes that have been handed down from one generation to the next. Come and be a witness to the best most authentic
I'm not a fan of mall restaurants, but our American friends have invited us to do something different so we went. The interior is okay and the restaurant is trying hard to convey the Greek island restaurant feel. The big windows did not help with the interior, but so far so good.We took our own wine and I was thankful for that as the menu is offering mostly big corporation wines. The service was friendly and the chef came out to meet us. My American friends again raved about all the foods. We had a table laden with tapas, but somehow it did not blow me away. Then again, I believe that I had that very authentic Greek Taverna in mind, where the owner is from an Island and can barely speak English and his wife and mother is in the kitchen cooking. I also cannot have Greek food without ample amounts of Ouzo. (I did have my glass after the meal in order to colour in the day with some aniseed).Next time I shall have a HUGE portion of the lamb and tzatsiki and ouzo! The rest of the table were very happy. The Americans raved after every bite, My best friends' son who is 20 now were scoffing all on the table and we kept ordering more, whilst my 7 year old princess were having a solo go at the marinated calamari. She loves all things weird and wonderful. As I am writing this review it is becoming clear to me that it was actually a lovely day with lovely food and friendly service. It was my own expectation that was not totally met, but for that I should travel to Santorini I guess. We shall be back, but I think this time I shall go in the evening. I hope it will be loud and bustling. I want me lamb and I want me ouzo! ;-)
