Athenian Garden serves the best Greek food in South Jersey!!! Located in Galloway, on Rt 9 just south of Seaview Marriot. It's worth the ride out. Historic Smithville is jus a short 5 minute drive north of the restaurant. This small family owned and operated Greek restaurant has a very charming atmosphere. Great for having a romantic dinner, dinner with friends and family, celebrating a special event, or even a business meeting.Generally our family will order take out dinners. Our entire family love the gyros and Greek salad platter. The price is reasonable for the amount of food you get and the authenticity is right on! The chef is the best. His wife is also very friendly and accommodating. They are two hard working owners, who aim to please her customers. They have a very nice menu and you can eat inside. The restaurant is BYOB. A nice bottle of wine goes well with dinner. Dinner prices are a little pricey, but your getting fresh lamb or even whole fresh fish grilled! Therefore the BYOB sets off the price for a nice romantic dinner! Itâs worth every penny though. I donât say that often about many restaurants!Keep up the great work Athenian Gardens! Sophiaâs is a beautiful place and the staff is excellent. I went for a large group dinner and their appetizers of octopus and shrimp cocktail were delightful. The dessert baklava was also quite excellent. I ordered a ribeye steak made Oscar style with fresh crab meat. I thought it was a little under seasoned and definitely a little overcooked. For the price that we paid I expected excellent execution and I felt that they were a little shortIâm giving it three stars although I would say closer to 3 1/2 to 3 3/4

The whole family enjoys Yianni's...great service and consistently good food. Favorite for me is any of their Greek dishes. Servings are large and very fresh and flavorful. Bagels are also excellent and quick to grab at the take out counter if you don't have time to sit down for breakfast.
