Been there so many times by now that it is high time to reward the team with a comment. From reservation by phone over welcome, service, quality and quantity of food to paying and leaving a warm atmosphere that makes you feel really welcome, regardless how much you consume and whether inside or on the shady terrace in summer time. The team perform an incredible job.When you are three or four, I would recommend the platter of mixed warm and cold starters for 2, maybe add another starter if you are very hearty eaters.Main courses are all excellent, except mousaka (for my liking not spiced enough) whether it is meat, lamb or fish. Usually accompanied with a mixed lettuces with standard dressing (I think a bottled supermarket quality one).Open wines l think 2 or 3 each white and red. When you buy a bottle donât expect much advice, but as prices are reasonable not much risk.All in for the four of us with drinks and tips some EUR 130 well spent in a delightful evening dining out.Very recommendable.

Taverne Kavala- is a family run place...One of my favorite weekend spots... Nice little place with all the charm, clean and good service. Great place for a little party and family dinner. Great prices and value in Bad Homburg-Located in the old city area of Bad Homburg and has a small garden in front to dine outside.Great place to kick back and friendly staff.. Enjoy..!!
