Stopped in for dinner just before closing. Food was good, portions were a little on the small side. Owner is super friendly. Baklava was really good.

I didn’t expect much given the location, but wow, was I surprised! The gyro meat is to die for and if you aren’t sent to heaven by the regular—you absolutely MUST try the spiced version! That was simply incredible. Service was superb and prices reasonable to cheap—what’s not to love? I’d eat here a couple times a week if I lived nearby!

We attended a beer and wine pairing with cigars in the well-stocked humidor adjacent to Olive (same owner) and were treated to selections from the various menu plates. The combinations of fresh herbs and spices, mixed with salads, fruits, and cheeses were nothing short of an awakening of the palate! Lou and Robin, the owners, have done an excellent job of breathing new life into this once run down series of buildings and, evident by the number of locals who call this place "home" on Friday nights, it is surely a popular place to meet and greet.Inside the Olive Sum Wine one can also find an array of freshly ground herbs and spices, plus a vinegar and olive oil selection to rival the most upscale stores around. Robin orders these spices fresh, along with select cheeses and other deli favorites. In short, this cafe/store is sure to be a frequent stop for us, be it for dining, purchasing, or socializing with many terrific people. Come for the food, stay for the cigars!
