Golden lies along Clear Creek at the base of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. Founded during the Pike's Peak Gold Rush on June 16, 1859, the mining camp was originally named Golden City in honor of Thomas L. Golden. Golden City served as the capital of the provisional Territory of Jefferson from 1860 to 1861, and capital of the official Territory of Colorado from 1862 to 1867. In 1867, the territorial capital was moved about 12 miles (19 km) east to Denver City. The United States Census Bureau estimates that the city population was 18,867 in 2010.

This is an unassuming place in a strip mall, from the outside. But inside is covered wall-to-wall with Elvis Presley memorabilia, as the owner was an old friend of his. Service was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food quite good. We enjoyed the French toast, huevos rancheros, and a veggie omelet -- thumbs up all around!

We stopped here for lunch expecting upmarket Mediterranean food but this establishment seemed to focus on simple Italian, some light French and very little else from the surrounding Mediterranean region.. Be that as it may lets rate the food. After looking over an uninspiring menu; my wife ordered a spinach salad and added shrimp. I ordered the Caesar salad with romaine lettuce, & anchovies with Calamari.on the top.The service was very good but the food was very average, especially for a $50 lunch that included drinks and gratuity. Not worth going there again.

Casual mid-afternoon visit that had us tasting a variety of menu items that turned out to be terrific- not your typical bar food! Quite a surprise to find such great food and a casual warm atmosphere! Loved the interior and this place offered something for everyone- darts, pool, karaoke or just plain chatting with our family and friends! Prices were reasonable and some wonderful menu items that had that home made touch and care! Highly recommend as a place where good food and good service are priorities!!!
