We were traveling 95 with another couple and stopped here for lunch when the wait at Mason Dixon Cafe was too long. Among us we had the open faced roast beef sandwich, gyro platter, and grilled cheese sandwich. Everything was good, service was attentive and fast, and prices were moderate. Would go here again.

Went there for dinner tonight, not really knowing what to expect (we were just traveling through). Upon approaching the entrance , we were struck by the beautiful flowers, roses and potted herbs outside. We went inside and were greeted, and seated, immediately by Laura, our waitress and also the manager. She was totally awesome, personality plus. We had Stella Artois, i had gyro and greek salad, my husband had french onion soup and corned beef reuben. Everything was excellent. Gyro had fresh sliced beef/lamb meat, obviously from a donor, not the pre-sliced stuff that youusually get. We will definitely make a point of dining here next time thru.

Parthenon Restaurant is not your typical small town family restaurant; it is a local success story and Fredericksburg's Dining Landmark! We have been around since 1986 serving homemade Greek, Italian and American Favorites. We do not offer just a friendly
Locals trying this place out for an early dinner. Meatball appetizer was very good. Lasagna was ok with very little flavor and lots of rubberized cheese topping with no taste. Eggplant parmesan was the same. $44 with tip was pricy considering we had waters to drink. This is a very old unkept restaurant in need of some serious renovations. The ceiling vents had lots of debris hanging off them and many of the tiles were water stained. (See pic) If the dining area isn't clean then the kitchen can't be any better. Not again.

After crashing with one attempt, the desk clerk at my motel for the evening suggested I order from Aladin. Great idea. I decided on the beef Souvlaki. Great choice. Lots of meat and veggies with two sauces in containers. Hot - wrapped in two layers of foil and really a bit more than I could eat. If I'm back here- yep.
