We ended up here after a concert, in search of a restaurant that opened late. Although it was pretty full when we arrived, the service was extrremely fast and efficient. (We found the decor somewhat lurid but that's a matter of opinion.) We only ordered a main course, but were served a large salad beforehand and a sweet afterwards. Certainly good value for money! Warning: the portions are vast, and even though two of us ordered small portions, we simply couldn't eat everything up. So bring plenty of hunger with you...

I have eaten in this restaurant on several different occasions whenever I am in Dessau - about once a year. The food and the service remains consistently excellent. I am always impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and the food is as authentic as it could possibly be and absolutely delicious. Their menu selections are varied and include many Greek specialties. I heartily recommend this restaurant.

We were visiting the Bauhaus in Dessau and sought an alternative to a river side restaurant closed due to a holiday. It turned out to be the best impromptu change in plans as we discovered this gem of a restaurant. While the decor was nothing to get excited about, the friendliness of the staff and real Greek food, made the way it might be made by a Yiayia, was delicious. From super garlicky tzatziki to juicy gigantes and a lovely baked lamb dish, each item was well prepared and tasty. We were only sorry we had no room for dessert as the portions were very generous. The service was also excellent and our server, Constandinos, was both charming and helpful, even willing to speak to me with my rusty, partial Greek. If anything takes you to the Dessau area and you like good food, go there. We would have returned a second evening but they were closed on Tuesdays.
