We were very satisfied with the food and the service! Definitely we can recommend this restaurant. We ordered many different plates and shared all with our group. Every plate was excellent! The owner, the lady who was the chef also, was were friendly and came at least two times to ask if everything was ok. Great service!

I have been a frequent guest at this restaurant and always enjoyed the many evenings here. The food tastes great and you certainly do not leave the place hungry.This family-owned business is providing customer service with a smile. They value customer relations and treat everyone as a regular.

After beeing part of an event with my work we where on our way to Düsseldorf and came upon Castello totally by chance. It offered greek food and me and my collegues all decided to try. The restaurant looks down to earh conventional comfortable inviting but definity not nouveaux cuisine or posh. The service also friendly welcoming but down to earth. We looked at the menu and the selection was good with a good meat selection as well as two vegetarian main meal options. We (4 people) ordered 3 main meal with a small starter and one salar. We weren`t to know what was to come. AS part of the main meal we had big starter platter it was lovely, a salad fresh and light, another Savoury pastery wonderful and with our main meal came a side of vegetables cooked to perfection. IT was abolutly great food (but to much for us to finish) for our group who had worked so hard. And then the bill which came for 4 people with drinks to a bit more than 80 Euros very good value. We enjoyed it so much that we were wondering if we could plan our next businesstrip around this restaurant. WHAT a find.

Only a short drive from the city center (and with ample of parking space) this is clearly the second best greek restaurant in Bielefeld. This may sound a bit tricky compliment but since there is also a price difference to the best (the KDW) you will come out with a value/money relation about as good.The staff will great you friendly and escort you to a table (on friday and saturday evenings a reservation is highly recommened) and will stay friendly and amiable throughout the evening. Operational hiccups will be dealt with swiftly and professional. The menu does not contain the oh so usual Kreta Plate with lot´s of meat on it but rather freshly prepared meat in decent portions and with very nice sauces to accompany. Both taset and freshness have never disappointed us in many years and visits. The menu is pretty much unchanged since I know this restaurant but for once or twice in a year this is fully ok with me.No need to order any appetizers with the order of a main you set yourself up for some nice appetizers (Greek salad, Tsatsiki, some meze and a pastry piece) which is more than enough to keep you satisfied. Given the very reasonable price, if you want good greek food which is apart from the usaul meatheavy dishes you normally get for two including drinks well below 50 ⬠this is the place for you (of course depending on the drinks).

Im Freundeskreis schon einige Male erwähnt haben wie dem Alamanos einen Besuch abgestattet, im Gepäck auch unser CityforTwo.Der Empfang war freundlich, das Restaurant gut besucht. Wir bekamen verschiedene Plätze angeboten und suchten uns daraus dann âunseren Tischâ aus. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich und vielseitig, dort wird man schnell fündig. Als Vorspeise dann ein Tsatsiki, da liegt die Latte durchaus hoch. Aber das war dort kein Problem, fluffig und lecker ein schöner Einstieg.Die Hauptspeise, Lammrücken und Lammfilet, kam nach angemessener Zeit auf dem Tisch, beides auf den Punkt, heià und lecker, genau so, wie das sein soll. Der Espresso rundete dann den Abend ab.Empfehlung aus dem Freundeskreis zu Recht, wir kommen gerne wieder.

this restaurant is always a must when I visit my in-laws in Bielefeld. I actually miss the food when I go home.the owner is so nice, and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. I wish I could go more than just once a year!

As a Greek, I was absolutely pleased there! Not too posh, not ridiculous! The staff is amazingly friendly and polite! Wine selection is very good, and they offer ouzo! Big portions, as with every dish they bring a variety of starters for free. They should just add some vegetarian food, but if you ask for it, they do assemble amazing dishes! They even helped us find a taxi immediately, as we were on a hurry!!! Everything excellent!
