Viele griechische Lokale in Deutschland haben ja den Ruf, eigentliche nur verkappte Imbissbuden zu sein. Kosta's Taverne in Bad Oeynhausen fällt in dieser Hinsicht zwar nicht ganz aus der Reihe, der kleine Gastraum und die strassenseitig gelegene Gartenterrasse verleihen dem Ganzen aber eine besondere Note. Die Gerichte sind lecker, und wer mal kurz Lust auf Gyros, Suflaki oder ähnliches in gemütlicher Atmosphäre verspürt, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig.

Endlich mal ein Ort an dem man Bier trinken, gut Essen und sich nett unterhalten kann. Das Gyros... Spitze, frische Schnitzel mit Pilzen oder Zwiebeln....lecker. Und dazu ein richtig gut gezapftes Bier. was will man mehr.Und wenn man dann ein paar Leute zusammen bekommt.... Rippchen satt.

Es handelt sich hier um einen griechische Grill, mit einigen Tischen. Essen kann auch telefonisch bestellt und mitgenommen werden. Am Abend ist es häufig Glücksache einen Tisch zu bekommen oder man muss reservieren. Uns hat es hier immer sehr gut geschmeckt, egal was wir bestellt haben. Der Empfang ist bei sehr vielen Gästen immer sehr herzlich. Die Preise sind zivil. Das Ambiente ist für einen Grill ok.

Visiting my German sister in law and family and we always look forward to going out to our local Greek restuarant... However it was shut on Monday :-(So we had a look on Trip Advisor and saw The Delphi that was only 10 mins down the road........What a discovery :-)The food in here was wonderfulThe service quick but not pushyWe had a party of eight and this was no problem to fit us inThe only slight issue I had (being v tall) was the smaller tables as I felt a bit squashed in.....However this was not a major issue as the food made up for itAll 8 of us had different choices and all were fantastic with all the plates being cleared even the kids. I had the Hermes platter which was mid blowing.We all walked away feeling well fed and the price we paid was excellent value for money.We think we now have a new favorite Greek Restuarant in town.Already looking forward to our next trip to Germany... A return visit to The Delphi will be made definitely. Thank you:-)P.s fancy setting up a restuarant in England near me please ;-)
