Good family run taverna. While the menu is generally standard Greek taverna, there are a couple of more interesting menu items such as the âdrunken chickenâ and prawns with garlic and ginger. We visited here a few times and were always impressed with the simple quality.

"Akrothiri bistro cafe & cocktail bar" Akrothiri is a bistro cafe & cocktail bar in the central square of Akrotiri
My wife and I stayed in Akrotiri on our honeymoon and although we never at at Akrothiri, we did stop there a couple of times for drinks. The staff were always friendly and the place has a fun vibe. They also really helped us out one night when the power went out and we weren't sure how to get home, the owner Giannis actually gave us a ride which was just above and beyond... give this place your business!

Welcome to Santorini and the family tavern of captain George "The Wave". Here we serve unique dishes grilled in traditional wood oven since 1977. Enjoy the taste of the sea and locally produced products from our farm in Akrotiri village. Have a good appet
We love this place! We were greeted by the owner George upon arrival with a handshake and smile. We were immediately seated at a table right over the water. Neighboring restaurants were pulled back off the water, so we were happy we chose The Wave. To start, we ordered the Greek salad and tomato and zucchini fritters from his garden, which were excellent. Our table enjoyed fish and lobster which were presented to the table before cooking. We were given samples of the house wine. His nephew Toni chatted with us about the restaurant's history and life in Akrotiri, where the family is from. George surprised us with delicious watermelon from his garden for dessert. Truly kind people. I'll definitely return when I'm back in Santorini!!

Excellent food! Gorgeous sea front view! Definitely recommend. My husband had the traditional Greek burger and fries which were delicious (note burger does not come on a bun). I had the chicken penne which was also fabulous! And canât beat the view.

We (group of 4 friends) dined here for dinner and it was great! We shared a platter of appetisers which had a great selection of dips, tomato fritters and other Greek traditional foods. We then had the lamp chops and Mousakka for mains which were great. The mousakka was different from other ones we had tried before, it wasnât as saucy but still lots of flavour! The waiter was so lovely and brought us out yoghurt and homemade grape marmalade as a desert. Taverna Glaros was such a beautiful evening for our group of friends and would highly recommend if you are in Santorini!

Alali Restaurant is located inside Astarte Suites Hotel and offers a dining experience for every taste. Its unique location on the rim of the Caldera of Santorini ensures of stunning views.
The new chef at the Alali restaurant in the Astarti luxury hotel has created a number of culinary original masterpieces. In the relaxed ambiance by the pool, overlooking the Santorini Caldera our company of five shared a number of delicious starters, main courses and deserts. And of course white and red wines from Santorini. It is really hard to make a decsion which plates I should recommend as everything I tasted was mouth watering but if I have to name a few : Starters 1. the sea bass with tarama and crispy rice, 2. the local tomatini salad with mango and jalapenio and 3. the Gyoza with fava. Main course. My own selection, the Lamb Fricasee with Sea Letuce and the choice of my wife, the Tuna with white eggplant puree. For deserts I can only suggest that you taste all three....hahahahaha Enjoy

Caldera Romantica Restaurant-Cafe is suited in Akrotiri at the road for Faros (light house). Our Restaurant - Cafe is just in front of Caldera, with a view on Vulcan islet, Aegean blue sea, and memorable sunset. Taste our traditional plate from the menu,
We didn't really choose this restaurant, the resort we were staying at recommended it based on the fact they would pick up and drop off. But we were so grateful!Honestly, the owner of the restaurant came to collect us and dropped us back whenever we wanted. A truly exceptional level of service. It was so good we dined both of our nights there. The location is fantastic, especially if you get there just before sunset. See photos. The service is exceptional. With the owner's daughter managing the place and two brilliant waitresses they have everything sown up. Our waitress wasn't family but was clearly treated as such making her incredibly happy and hospitable. Some of the guests dining were clearly on half board as it is part of a hotel and their set menus looked good and wholesome. A la cart was on a really good level. Not fine dining but very very good, and for the price and location truly excellent! I would highly recommend either as an in house resort experience or a go to dinner destination. On behalf of Caldera Romantica Restaurant, we would like to thank you for choosing us and for taking the time to write your review!Thank you very much for your positive feedback and also for your kind words! We will be happy to welcome you again in the future and offer you a memorable experience.Best Regards,Caldera Romantica Team

We ate here several times during our stay and stopped off for morning coffee daily! The atmosphere is informal and friendly with excellent quick service. The staff remembered us after the first couple of visits and were always very welcoming and chatty. The food is delicious. They have some of the local dishes; fava, tomato fritters etc and great menu of main courses. Every day there are specials. I had grilled fish twice and it was excellent on both occasions. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.
