This is hands down the best place to stay, eat, and drink in Schorndorf! There is no comparison. The rooms are first rate, the food is 5 star and the staff are unbelievably friendly. When traveling to Stuttgart or Schorndorf this is where I stay. You must try it, you will not be disappointed!

Wir waren an Weihnachten dort. Das Ambiente ist sicher noch ausbaufähig. Das Essen (Gyros) war gut, der Service ebenso. Das Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist exzellent!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in Schmiegs Remsbesen in Winterbach. Ohne Reservierung geht gar nichts. Unsere Bedienung war supernett, dennoch hat es ewig gedauert, bis wir bestellen bzw. am Ende bezahlen konnten. Das Essen an unserem Tisch kam wild durcheinander, zwischen dem ersten und dem letzten Hauptgericht lagen mehr als 30 Minuten. Geschmacklich war es zudem nicht wirklich gut.

Das einzige positive am Essen war die PortionsgröÃe. Das Restaurant altbacken und mit Nippes überladen. Die Bedienung durchaus bemüht und im normalen Rahmen. Das Essen: Soonwälder SpieÃbraten. Zwei dicke Scheiben Fleisch, welche leider recht trocken waren. Die Pommes frites grenzwertig in Richtung versalzen. Der Beilagensalat schlecht geputzt. Auch wenn der Preis niedrig war, er stimmt dann bei den beschriebenen Mängeln auch nicht mehr.

Hier stimmt einfach alles: das Ambiente, der Service und natürlich das Essen.Wir waren eine gröÃere Gruppe und alle haben sich rundum wohlgefühlt. Jedes Gericht war wirklich toll und hat vorzüglich geschmeckt!

Buona cucina tedesca , personale gentile e disponibile. Peccato che non parlino una parola di inglese e che il menù è scritto SOLO in tedesco .Comunque la qualità del cibo sembra davvero buona... tempi dâattesa perfetti, prezzo corretto e persone gentili.

Ate here one evening before a business meeting by invitation. The place is what is expected from a place serving German cuisine at its very best. The menus are seasonal - but of cause with some of the standards, but why got for that when there are so many local dishes with seasonal raw materials incorporated.For a starter I had Maultashe in der Brühe - and even though Maultashen is officially declared a regional speciality of Schwaben, there are clearly variations on the theme.Whereas I previously had got Maultashen in the concept of oversize ravioli, this was more like a Roulade cake in slices about 2 cm thick (I should note that I had got something similar in Trier and thought is a slight misunderstanding - this is now corrected). But anyway - just delicious!As a main cause I had pork tenderloin (from a local special pork) with mushrooms (chanterelles - at least most of it) and spätzle. The tenderloin which was extremely - pardon the pun - tender, and the accompanying mushroom sauce was just so spicy and concentrated that it fitted perfectly to the meat and spätzle.After that I had to give in - no room for dessert aside from a double espresso and a local weinbrand.Highly reccomendable.
