Would you like to eat real german food. here you go! ... and in quantities. This restaurant serves excellent german dishes for excellent prices. In the menu the Schnitzel is proposed at least in 20 different ways. Great experience, ... but be careful in taking the "large" portions as we did.

We visited this place for the first time even visiting Kevelaer many times. The interior is classic and gives you good filling and view. The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly. We ordered Rumpsteak Krauterbuter and Heringstipp. Both were delicious. Steak was made out of fresh meat and was fried just enough. We will definitely come back.

All round a very good experience, if a tad expensive. If you like steak, this place does them very well. They have English menu's, but the German menu uses English terms for the steaks, so very easy to eat here. Staff are very nice and helped with the meal selection. Steaks were cooked as requested and just melted. Very nice. The jacket potatoes chosen were large and ample for the meal. Sauces were served separately. They have a salad bar and a range of sides. The meat is on display.
Needed to catch a super early Ryanair flight out of the Weeze airport. This was a perfect place to grab some shut eye. We drove into town late, and had already eaten dinner along the way, so canât vouch for the restaurant portion of this combined hotel/restaurant. (Not sure why Trip Advisor only puts this in the restaurant category as the name clearly idâs it as a hotel first, very common combo facility in Europe. The room was decent size for the 3 of us (kids), reasonably priced, well furnished, clean and quiet (even tho on the main drag). Not much going on in this small town late at night. It was perfect for this Ryanair getaway. The hotel was less than 1/2block from the bus stop for the airport bus, and the ride was maybe 15 minutes max. We even scored a parking place on the same block and just left our rental car for this weekend jaunt to London. We did end up having to take a taxi when we came back as it was late at night, around 11 or so, and weâd just missed the last bus. But the cab fare wasnât bad at all as the distance wasnât that great. The next morning, there was a cute little farmers market going on across the street. Breakfast was not included, and we opted for some fresh pastries from the bakery vs. the typically overpriced European hotel breakfast.

This cafe is located along the river Niers, we stop here, halfway the walking trail, to take a lunch. There is a little manual cable ferry to cross the river Niers. The cafe has a nice terrace and serves simple dishes such as tasty soups, burgers, Schnitzels, pastas etc. 4/5 we will come back, the ambiance is nice.4/5

Knowing from last visits to this area this Markt-Cafe is a very cosy high quality bakery breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant with a very friendly service. They serve a very extensive breakfast with fresh fish, meat, egg and cheese dishes, a wide variety of breads, vegetables fruits etc. Also the pastries are freshly baked, high quality and very tasty products.A wide variety of hot drinks such as coffees, teas, hot chocolate, soups, Quiches etc. are served. Finally a large terrace in summer and " Beer garden" as well as Dans events etc.

I recently visited this restaurant with my family. We found the service to be excellent, very friendly, accommodating and quick! We were also happy with the look of the restaurant, it had a very traditional German feel, the staff were dressed accordingly and the outside area was very pretty, well maintained and had a play area for families with children. Our food was excellent, and very unexpected. We each ordered different schnitzels and we were presented with a bread and dip started, then a lovely fresh bowl of Salad before our meals were bought to us.We chose this restaurant on the last day of our trip to Weeze as it was on route to the airport and boy were we glad we did!

It looked busy- which we thought was a good sign- though it meant service was slower. We has a lovely meal- the plate was full- and could not finish. Would go back.
