In diesem sehr groÃen Lokal findet man u.a. 4 Billard Tische, 2 Dartautomaten, 2 Geldspieler sowie Sky TV für Bundesliga Spiele etc. Hier kann man wirklich einen ganzen Abend gut verweilsen, die Bedienunge sind freundlich, die Atmosphäre gut. AuÃer an den Billardtischen und im Essbereich darf überall geraucht werden, was aber aufgrund der GröÃe des Lokales nicht allzu störend ist. Das Essen bietet für jeden etwas, die Portionen sind groÃ, die Preise insgesamt OK. Im Sommer steht zudem eine Terasse zur Verfügung. Einziges Manko, auÃer diesem schönen Lokal ist weit und breit nichts los in der Umgebung, so dass man quasi hier "gefangen" ist.

My family and I ate dinner here twice in three days! We arrived at the restaurant by chance and were greeted by very friendly staff. They had a menu in English and several vegetarian options. When we ordered, the waitress suggested that we had ordered too much and suggested half portions, which worked out perfectly. The food was excellent. It was nice to have German food that was vegetarian and it seemed a bit upscale. The waitress checked to make sure we had enough throughout. The salads that came with the meals were amazing (potato salad, coleslaw, sauerkrat, lettuce, etc.). The second time we went, the waitress saw that I was trying to read the history of the tavern in German and went and printed out an English translation. They were so sweet and the food was great again and reasonably priced. They had a little treat for the kids at the end. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Mitten im Squash Center liegt Franks Steakhaus,sehr gutes Essen,super Steaks auch viele andere leckere Gerichte.Preise noch Human, Services sehr freundlich,online Reservierung möglich über Homepage.Waren bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

We were staying in the hotel; we saw that the restaurant closed at 9, so we went to eat at about quarter to. We were told in no uncertain terms that it was too late to order more than a main course. After that all was fine. We enjoyed the venison which, unusually, came as two dishes. The first was three thick, juicy steaks with all the expected accompaniments, and once we'd finished that the second was a dish of three large, tasty, venison-filled ravioli with other accompaniments. We did, in fact, then have a dessert.Breakfast, lunch, afternoon coffee and cakes and the following day's dinner were also very good.

I am normally dubious of 'Buffet' events as the food tends to be on display too long and lose its quality. This did not happen at either the 'Western' or the 'Black Forest' event. The presentation, quality and variety could not be faulted and tables were laid out in such a way there was virtually none of the normal queueing for food.

The restaurant looks quite nice and clean, the menu is small but there is something for evey taste so I went in. After a little bit of checking I decided to go for the chicken with fruit curry, basmati rice and vegetables.The restaurant even provided a Amusee geule ... just it would have been better if they hadn't. Tastless tomatoes with lots of garlic (fresh, apparently) on a squishy toast and called it Bruschetta. Fortunately my hunger was big enough to stick around until the main course arrived. Which was good average with a lot of chicken. The service was good and didn't really fit to the lower quality food ... what was remarkable was the dilligence in listing all the potential harmful ingredience on the menu: nuts, lactose, ...The dessert (icecream with hot berries) was again just standard. Mushed berries with a few pieces on what I think was vanilla, blueberries and apricots.

Eigentlich wäre meine Bewertung gut, gibt´s aber leider nicht. Wir hatten einen Gutschein für das Dinner, das insgesamt, bis auf die lauwarme Suppe, ganz gut geschmeckt hat. Vor allem der Hauptgang Hirsch war sehr lecker. Käse und Nachtisch fielen dann wieder etwas ab. Beim Frühstück am nächsten Tag zeigte sich jedoch schnell, dass noch einige Luft nach oben ist. Insgesamt scheint sich das Restaurant mit Gutscheinen über Wasser zu halten. Immerhin war das Hannikel deutlich besser, als das dazugehörende Restaurant Waldachtal. Trotzdem waren wir wahrscheinlich das erste und letzt Mal dort.
